Wow, just wow. I’ve always put off really listening to Yngwie because I thought he was another shredder with no feel. This performance proved me wrong, I just watched the entire video in awe. Now I know why he’s one of the greats and I was dead wrong to misjudge him.

Alot of people hate Yngwie because its the cool thing to do. Watch the video of dave navarro and george lynch. Lynch says yngwie is an inspiration and Dave is somewhat shocked. The dudes got talent undeniably.

Yngwie is so theatrically Baroque that it gets a bit overwhelming but he's just so badass at whst he does that it just shuts me up.

This is the first time i heard Black Star and watched this video. :O I love that feeling when you find something so amazing and mezmerizing for the first time. I just want to hear it again and again and can't wait to listen to other pieces . Feels like exploring your first favourite band as a kid. Except i listened to tons of music already almost daily for at least 16 years and this should not be new to me, but i am happy it is. :) It is great to unknowingly keep some masterpieces for later.
I have to say of all the greats, no one has upheld their ability into old age quite like Yngwie. He still plays so smooth, clean, and impressively fast through the years.
All hail the maestro of shredding and the father of todays best players. Yngwie has been playing since he was 5yrs old and composing by age 13. Crisp clear tones and deadly accurate in playing, you can feel every note, simply a god of strings 🤘
