    I have been using glue gun for making baits years back,
    worked like a charm but never really bothered to put so much detail in it. Great work!

    You could try and make a normal swim bait by just putting a larg weighted hook in after you make the lure by cutting a slit and then reheating around the area so it bonds around it or by just heating up the hook and then putting it in

    • @SolarfallBaits
      @SolarfallBaits  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It probably wont work you will need to pre heat the mold and also when your about to close the mold you will need to heat the hot glue to make the 2 halfs bond properly and as far as i know caulking silicone is not very heat resistant and probably will melt.

    I do use a Dremel to do some of the work on mine and other small power tools. That said, it is still really fun to make a lure and actually catch fish on it. Great feeling of pride and accomplishment when you reel in that first fish! Thanks for the video (even if it is an older one).
    Nice thing here is that you could easily fix tooth marks and rips in the lure by heating up the torn tooth mark.
