Steve had a bad habbit of getting a little too friendly to the animals ( you know what i mean, dont even try to tell me you dont) in the garden so God zapped him dead with a lighningbolt and decided to start all over again but then Eve fucked it all up again and they got booted out from the garden never to return.

    Next time you use super glue to stick line ties, just sprinkle baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) on top. It hardens like an epoxy plastic and can be filed and sanded. Keep building layers of superglue and sprinkle bicarb till it's covered. Super strong and can be used to plastic weld just about anything. Try it!

      @61diemai 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SolarfallBaits
      I remember , that I had sent some spoons to you , but do not remember the particular models anymore .
      I'm happy to hear , that they have worked for you , anyway .
      Regarding spoon fishing and also spoon making , I have always been focussed on heavy spoons , since the waters I used to fish , were up to 15 m deep and I wanted my spoons to run as deep as possible .
      But today I also see a need for slow sinking , yet sufficiently heavy for casting , spoons like the ones , you've kindly introduced i this video .
      Years ago I had made experiments with spoons made our of such two-component repair clay :
      www.amazon.de/2-Komponentenkleber-Befestigung-Rollenhalter-Seifenspender-Accessoires/dp/B004KQV1TO/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_60_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DKETDG14YHMESJ8SQCB6
      Sadly this stuff is pretty much expensive , but sometimes they sell no-name products in discounter special offers , which come quite a bit less compared to the brand name prices .
      To render the clay spoons heavier(the cured clay itsself is quite light , but still heavier than water) , I had gathered lead chips , filed off a chunk of lead with a coarse file and evenly worked these into the clay before finally creating the spoon's shape . One has to be very quick in doing so , as the processing time of the mixed clay ist only a few minutes before it starts to set .
      Made two spoons this way free-handed , using a mold would have surely been of advantage , ...one of these spoons turned out to work great , the other , a more slender one , got too heavy to wobble well .

    • @SolarfallBaits
      @SolarfallBaits  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have used that very material before just not on lures though as its rather expensive and i tend to keep the expenses low. Its more challenging to make due with less tools and gadgets and keep it ghetto

      @@SolarfallBaits There is a company online called "ETSY" which sells fine particle metals including cooper,brass and other such metals for craft projects. One bag goes a long ways for lure making. These make super material for lures as they catch enormous amounts of light and cause the lures to flash brilliantly in the water. You apply them just like you did with the sand

    • @jimbo4612
      @jimbo4612 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Another way to add tremendous flash is to buy a sheet of holographic foil and use a hole punch to make multiple small discs. These discs then can be layered in rows on top each other starting with the bottom to top and will make fish scales . Then add the finish coat when all the additions are done Similar lures with such scales can run as much as $ 60.00 or more as there is a market for them all over the world. Musky, pike,Zander, Nile perch, Barramundi . Peacock bass, anglers to name just a few from the different continents that want high quality lures.

    When you cut out your template you could have saved yourself a step by folding the paper the other way and then cutting it out. Also if you want to sort mixed sand/particles try either vibrating it or repeatedly tapping the container to make the large particles rise to the top and the finer grains sink to the bottom. Cool lure though, well done

      If im perfectly honest its kinda intertaining to poke fun of the trolls, its not like i take any of them seriously, after all its desperate attempt to seek attention and im more than willing to give it to them and just point and laugh😎
