Thanks Craig. I've used Cap-11 on & off for a few years, but I always find myself re-learning options. This tutorial is excellent for a brain refresh.

This appears to be a great video, but I’m watching on an ipad so I can’t see your cursor. Could you please either indicate it or, preferably, by enlarging the area you’re talking about? Thanks.

Great tutorial...I'm migrating from LR to Capture One. Is there a way to easily create a catalog in Capture One and "point" to existing files that have been already imported into LR. I have thousands of images in LR and would like to reprocess some in Capture One.

I'm migrating over also, currently on the 30 day Capture Oen trial... I find just choosing the "system folders" in the Library tool of Capture One works well. It just takes a couple of minutes to generate thumbnails...

I like you tutorials very much. You do speak a little to fast for me but, I can make it work. My biggest problem is the cursor. It's hard to see and I find I spend a lot of time trying to find it. By the time I do you're off to the next instruction so I end up playing back so I can find the cursor. This cursor issue is often on a lot of tutorials but, I like yours the best so please help me find the cursor.

Hi Craig, In case you don’t see my comment in response to another viewer, I’ll repeat it here. I’m a brand new convert to COne from LRoom. For us newbies we have no idea where you are looking so we have to scan the whole screen to find your tiny pointer. We’re therefore a step behind you, forever playing catchup which is not the best experience. Can you increase the size of your pointer and possibly change its colour to red? I really enjoyed the video otherwise and have subscribed. I’m looking forward to your next instalment. Many thanks for giving me the confidence to to delve straight in to COne.

Hello, Craig, Like other viewers I have great difficulty in seeing your pointer. I second Christian's suggestion one week ago to color it red and to increase its size. When you get into the more advanced tools, perhaps you could also slow up. I'm coming to Capture One from MAC Aperture, and the transition will be rough, especially n regard to "smart albums" (virtual receptacles for highly-rated images) which are not recognized by Capture One. You could help by devoting an entire video to folder and file organization in CO. How should we structure our material within a catalogue, for example? (Equivalent of folders, projects, albums.) Then, if there's time, how do we import/export? create presets? Someone like myself needs to be taken by the hand! or should I say "by the enhanced pointer". Thank you!

Hi Craig. I'm a true beginner with Capture One Express (will upgrade once I learn a little more) but I can't work out how to import photos. I use an iMac and when I click on 'Download Image' that's where I get stuck. I was expecting to have an obvious way of dragging photos from my 'Photos' section but not only does nothing like this appear but there is nothing to explain what anything means. It mentions Source and Catalogue but I'm left guessing. A brief tutorial on how to actually get your images into Capture One would be really useful. I'd bet that I'm not the only one stuck in this way.

Hi Craig I am a Lr subscriber but last 20 days using Cp 0ne 11 as trial Version it works good but skin tone seems brown but i need rose colour. And what is main advantage in image quality than Lr.

Have you calibrated your monitor? Are your settings correct for your lens? In my opinion I like the image quality, sharpness and color.

If you don't like a gradient mask you don't need to start over. Just do another one and the first one is overwritten. Very simple
