It's an honor to have CSS use this save to help optimized the game for everyone. I just really really enjoy the challenge that comes with massive builds. If it helps them and everyone, that's just the most amazing honor. Glad you enjoyed!
@@luplex7567 Multiplayer servers are WIP and weak. They say it when you create one. The save shown in the video is probably single player which is different
First off. You win Satisfactory, hands down. Second, I gave this a like and a comment solely based off of the timing of the Clap at 0:55 - Truly exceptional work.
The organization and fluidity in your builds is impeccable. I really love that all the wires are placed only where they are needed and never clipping objects or obscuring views. There is really no wasted space unless it serves the purpose of scenery and order.
Congrats on finishing the truly Heavy Modular Framerate factory! It's been a fun journey, resulting in a suspiciously smooth video. Looking forward for what's next on your "worth overdoing" list!
You're producing more screws per minute than every single item I move around across the whole map in my current save that completed Phase 4. Not just 1, not 2, but 3 times more screws than every piece of ore, cubic meter of liquid, ingot, and part combined to finish the final phase of the game. I use a lot of alternate recipes to make it that way, but still, that's an absurd amount of screws.
It mainly was a challenge by the devs to make that many a minute lol When I calculated how many screws I needed, it came to 68,800, so of course I had to adjust it to meet that goal XD
I just wanted to give an update out other than twitter or twitch! XD This save is specific to Twitch only for now. Eventually I will put out another tour video like this but with the save file accessible for everyone!
I don't like this game, but man i can tell you congrats on your hardwork. One thing that sucks about games is not being able to show people your work. This right here is beautiful, well done.
This would work amazingly well as a trailer for this game tbh, nothing has made me want to play this game more than this video even though I won’t be able to make anything nearly as complex, efficient, nor big as this lol
I always wondered if I could reach the building limit with my newest project. After your video I now know, I definitly will NOT reach it. You win Satisfactory my guy, gg.
Trust me, the build limit is more of a guideline than a true limit. (Can alter one file to never have a limit again) BUT building beyond that limit you are subject to lowering fps, long save/load times, and taxing the game engine before your hardware even gets hot. I say build to your hearts content and go nuts! Cant know what our limits are until we push them a bit! But one thing I can say without a doubt, the engine limit unaltered, is pretty beefy and difficult to reach. This save is roughly 3x over it.
I just started playing last week and have played about 8 hours and am loving it. This video is so insane I have no idea what is actually going on here haha. May have to check out some of your streams...
This is some insane amount of planning and artistic skill. I dread to think of how many hours they spent on breaking it down and rebuilding it every time.
@@alexanderbeardsley5465 There was about a solid month of planning that went into the HMF factory before even a single foundation was laid. As for the rest of it, it was pretty much as I went. This playthrough is just over 2600hrs now and done all on my live stream only(I wont work on it outside so the viewers can see every step) I have over 10k hours in Satisfactory now and coming up on 5 years playing it and have come such a long way from spaghetti builds! I just truly love the building aspect combined with functional factories and cant get enough!
I'm at 0:57 .. I had to stop and comment that I've been looking at this video for 57 ! seconds, with my mouth wide open and uttering "What the f*ck" and "No way!" every 8 seconds
The power plant is easily the most laggy part. If you look at the pipes that feed the 2500 generators, it sets at less than 10fps. But before update 6, this save was running 7fps everywhere. Now its usually 40-60fps depending on where you are. They have been able to heavily optimize the game using this save. I had to have one scene showing some lag as I didnt want to make it seem like it always ran perfect, there is a downside to building massive things unfortunately :)
One day you will! I build really big factories, some of which are the largest ever built in game. Because of that, its nothing to spend months on one factory, but what really keeps me engaged and hooked on a project is streaming it. The Satisfactory community is absolutely amazing, supportive, highly knowledgeable, and SUPER fun to engage with. But Ficsit for sure hasn't stranded me on that planet forcing me to build factories!
I really appreciate the sub! I never really wanted to do how to videos or tips/tricks mainly because so many others are already doing that, and I didnt want to just add to the same content everyone else was doing, but I do build all this stuff live on my Twitch streams(And if you have any questions or want to see how they are built, certainly swing by the streams!). I certainly have a few more tour videos for newer projects I have spent the last year making but have so many fine detailing to do and given the size of the factories, that might take a while XD
Only the veteran players will truly understand the insane undertaking that is 375 heavy modular frames per minute. This video is so damn cool. By the way, that song is awesome. What’s it called and who wrote it?
I dont have one all in one place but for each factory separately, I am still finalizing the HMF one but my 2500 fuel plant flow chart is available on my twitch page just to the right side of my bio. labeled "Largest fuel plant" :)
Thats an awesome build. Also great to see you use a lot off conveyer busses and lifting everything off the ground. I tend to build way to compact and close to the ground which is a pain if you want to scale.
Glad you enjoyed! It can be tough leaving space for late game stuff! Even after 9000hrs in the game and 4 years, I still feel like I never leave enough room! Only once I get to the end of a build do I realize I need to move something!
Everytime youtube shows me a factory like this I go wow thats soo cool, I should build something like that but end up building the lets game it out style for the 6th time XD.
man salute to you. Is the save file available for us? Just need to go in there and travel inside your creation to feel it myself. Even a 2 hr video can't justify your efforts.
What I want to know is how people manage to layout things this large and keep it so symmetrical. I inevitably space something wrong and not discover it until ive built 20 hours worth of other things. I especially wonder if there are any good tips on building the huge transport hubs (20+ pipes all laid out, 30-50+ conveyors all weaved around each other, etc). A overhead planning tool would probably make all of that a million times easier (even using /fly helps a ton, but isn't completely perfect)
Oh the struggle is real. The HMF building you see in there had to be completely resized once I got the factory functional and all the floors built. I had to add on 2x4 foundations to make the outside design work. The struggle of making everything look symmetrical and complete is often overlooked with videos like this. I easily spent over 100hrs reworking that building alone. The fuel plant of 2500 fuel generators also had quite the rework once it was complete. So don't worry, it happens to all of us :) My go to plan for builds this large is make it functional, then make it clean/pretty.
Zero regret for sure but I have over 13k hours in Satisfactory overall and have traveled the world due to streaming and making content. Even invited to meet the devs this past October in Sweden. I am an electrical engineer full time and it can be quite stressful with very long days. Having something like Satisfactory is my reset button and just something I put my free time into for fun. Not one bit is regret :)
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed! I truly love this game but what makes it truly unique is the community around it. My viewers inspire me to always push my builds and what I can do even when creating videos. :)
