This is a massive amount of work that involves a lot of skill and artistry and coordination.
@@GL-gamelabthat's the only way it stays fun imo. If I don't go into the game thinking, "today I want to play with trains" and instead think, "man, I need to spend three days straight on foundation work" it stops being a game and just becomes a job.
I'm seeing 6 groups of 128 coal generators, which would burn 11,520 coal/min or if fully overclocked 28,800 coal/min, however, the map provides 30,900 coal/min. It's close but definitely not using all the coal on the map. Are you losing the rest to train inefficiencies, or did you miss a few nodes?
That's correct. Of the 30,900 coal/min, 28,800 coal/min is used and the remaining coal is collected at the small station in the center at 0:26 of the video. There was a plan to burn 28,800 coal/min and expand further, but it was canceled because adding a small process would change the appearance.
an absolutely insane build whoa!!! I really appreciate how you make exposed pipes and belts features, as well as the islands of greenery you've left and built around. This is so incredible, I'm in awe of folk who can make such art in this game.
Yes but have you seen my highway that starts and ends in a single biome, that turned slightly around rocks that were in the way, permitting a single truck to bring coal from four normal nodes to my steel foundry to produce 480 steel ingots a minute?
This is fantastic, your train network looks awesome, especially through all the different biomes. And then the rush of all that coal on the belts , oh man, beautiful. Not to mention the dam itself. I do predict one problem though. A steel shortage.
i prefer these builds were u see them actally being built rather than just a finished tour it gives me ideas ( not that i use those ideas i end up with a box every dam time)

A monumental build, I have achieved only a fraction of this power. The aesthetic is certainly worth the loss of power in Return on Investment! *Edit:* Coal has the best ROI at 88.7%, early to mid game its your best choice by far, the only runner up is if you were to commit everything to fuel and burn it for power, an option you wont have early on. Petroleum coke is a no go, bringing up the rear with a 61.3% power ROI. The amount of machines you have to keep running for each stage of refinement takes away from the overall capacity! *P.S.* I haven't run the math for compacted coal, but that's a sulfuric acid opportunity cost!
