Thank you Dr.Alyssa. I am a recently retired RN (after 45 years) who lives in Seattle area.I have some OA in hips and knees. Trying to keep moving and not being sedentary. Long walks make my hips hurt. I do some yoga for osteoporosis too and recently discovered your channel. I appreciate your videos as a way to "work out" and keep moving indoors during rainy season. With gratitude.
Hi Doc, I found your videos while watching another awesome PT doctor. I did this exercise as warm up with my knee brace on my left knee that got aggravated by doing another exercise video:/ I felt so good after I finished it and I really enjoyed it!! Looking forward to doing it 5-6 days a week as warm up before strength exercise. Thank you very much for your dedication to help people like me!! 🙏❤️
What a great workout! Cross leg forward and backwards was very challenging one for me. I'll keep practicing it. Balancing on one leg with one leg off the floor worked fine on the right leg and not on the left leg. 24H later, I didn't get sore from this exercise. Thank you, Dr Alyssa.
I see a physiatrist tomorrow. My shoulders and hips. However I am able to do all this except the arm exercises bc of especially right shoulder. Thank you. I’ve told my orthodontist that I’m following you and doing your program.
I praise God for your dedication in helping those of us with this condition. I stumbled across this video. It was difficult n painful at times but I am determined. I am bone on bone with my right knee n receiving gel injections n recently dropped a can of soup ony right foot. Seeing doc tomorrow. Foot is swollen n painful. Please keep up you caring n dedicated n helpful videos. Can your movements help with RA? I have a friend with RA. Will they help her? Plz respond.
I’ve done this workout a few times so far. I really like the focus on balance, fall prevention etc. Getting some cardio is an extra bonus. I have OA in lumbar area plus a mild lumbar scoliosis. The video does seem to aggravate my back and I am not overdoing the movements. Same thing happens with low impact aerobics workouts which I really love to do. I saw that you linked some back exercise videos so will check that out. Thanks for all your videos!
Thanks for making videos, I was having pain in my hips and after doing these the pain is gone. Think I was just walking and not moving my hips other ways.
Dr Alyssa - this was fabulous - thank you so much. I have severe tendonitis due to RA in my hands and wrist - is it okay to do these when my wrists/hands feel sore? I am hoping it will help
Fertility is not something I specialize in so I’m not able to answer that question. Not sure the workouts would differ in that situation but I don’t know.
I really loke your videos! I just did this video then the one with 3 exercises for front of hip pain. Do you have an exercise video the low back? I garden and exercise daily but seem to involve my low back (often called the diamond). I do have lumbar arthritis and spondylolisthesis l5-S1. Any ideas?

@@arthritisadventure thank you! I’ll do this one today. I have focused so much on exercises for borderline osteoporosis that I overlook exercising specifically for the arthritis.

Unfortunately I can’t do those leg lifts because I have groin pain. 😢
