It was! I just took this trip nice and slow being by myself. The filet was great, I only ate one that first night and saved the others for part of my tacos the next night. That'll be in the next video. Thanks for watching and commenting

The tent was toasty the whole time. I had plenty of the 1lb. propane tanks to keep that heater going. The coldest part was making breakfast outside the tent in the mornings.

Another nice adventure in the southern Appalachians, and solo at that! Heading that way in April when the temps warm up and the fly fishing is picking up. Enjoyed the vicarious trip into the BRWMA and the snowy scenery. Looking forward to Part II.

Yep had to go it alone this time but it was still very enjoyable. I’m sure it will be beautiful in April with all the fresh green leaves and new spring when you go. I hope to half Part 2 up in another week or so. Thanks again for watching another and commenting.

Oooh, that fire looks so warm!! Those temps sound pretty good - we got stuck with -20 and -30 degree temps over the last few days but warming up a bit now! ;-) Looks like some beautiful exploring! Love all the cascading waterfalls... Enjoyed the adventure! 💙Terry and Terri

Whoa those temps are crazy. You weren’t camping in that were you? Yes the fire was very warm and spent most of my time at camp very close to it. Also made sure I had plenty of wood to keep it roaring! So glad you liked this video to. The river was amazingly beautiful with the ice and snow along it. That’s why I dedicated a small section of the video to it. Thanks again for watching and commenting!

Enjoyed the video! Looks like a fun time and gourmet camp meal. I like that you shared the coordinance to where your camp was. Nice to be able to see on a map where that beautiful area was. Love the jeep drive by shots too. I'm a little partial since I have its twin, LOL!

I really enjoyed this trip and it was fun. Nothing to hardcore as far as trails but very relaxing and easy going. Yeah I go back and forth on whether to share coordinates. One way I look at it is I think this may help people spread out and find new areas and not hit the more popular spots so hard, like the Georgia Traverse. Last time I was on a portion of it the camp sites and trail were looking pretty rough. Yes I enjoy checking out your twin! Thanks for watching and commenting again.

@@toddhoffmaster6057 yes it’s nice not having any bugs around. And another good thing about winter camping is a lot more empty campsites. I had the pick of the litter. Hardly anyone else out camping this week I went

@@GetOverItOutdoors I will be heading out that way in April, hoping that the bug situation doesn’t get too crazy. Coming from AZ, so we don’t usually have too many bugs or pollen. In May, we will be down in FL running the BOH trail, so that will definitely be buggy.

Thanks so much! I think you’ll really like the area if you haven’t been before. We were there again the week between Christmas and New Year. Very cold again.
It may have been a couple degrees colder but the campsite is deep between 2 mountains that it cut the wind to nothing, so it kinda balances itself out.
