      yeah it was almost the perfect time. maybe about a week later would have been the absolute best. the higher elevation was full color but a little lower they still hadn't changed fully. thanks so much for watching.

    Wonderful video. great shots and music. how did you find so many water crossing? were they all on mainly the same trails?

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your kind words. Most of the water crossing were all on one trail. I think it was like 7 total on that trail. Its just off the Georgia Traverse

      It was the last week in October in 2020. It was quite amazing. I remember the higher elevations were in full color change while some of the lower elevations were still a week or 2 behind. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good Luck!

      They are on Cashes Valley Rd. Right where Cashes Valley Rd. and Cashes Valley Ln meet. Cashes Valley Rd. continues off into the woods and turns to gravel then to dirt. It’s a out and back trail with several water crossings and terminates at a old cemetery where a church used to be.

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      The trail with all the water crossings is Cashes Valley Road. It starts at the Y with Cashes Valley Lane. It’s a out and back trail that ends at a old cemetery. The rest of the trail footage is all parts of the western side of the Georgia Traverse. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      That end of Caches Valley Rd is primarily known for the water crossings of Fighting Town Creek. Otherwise it is a short and relatively unremarkable gravel road.
      The paved part comes off SR2 in Fannin County, goes through a pretty valley with mountains on both sides, then drops into the watershed.
      The fork left becomes Caches Valley Lane but it is the main road (eventually crosses the creek by bridge, the Benton McKay trail and becomes Bushy Head road in Gilmer County ending at Boardtown Road (paved road between Ellijay and Blue Ridge). No water crossings that route.
      However the lonely road at the right of the Y seen here is most all water crossings. I do it on a CB250 street bike so most of them are not too deep. Pretty solid gravelbed crossings.
