In this video I'll show you the new video switcher from OSEE, the GOSTREAM. It's a 4 HDMI input switcher that adds a lot of new features over the Atem Mini line. SD Card recording and playback. Record and playback macros from buttons, an NDI input and more!

We made NDI into the Beta version for reviewers to test it. However it is not yet ready for release until the thorough test can be done. Pls stay tuned with us.

This is amazing! For the same price you have waaay more features. The only thing which appears to be worse is the build materials. BMD looks more massive, but man the features... The menu, 3 streams, more auxes, SD card record&playback, NDI! These are huge extras by themselves alone but all of them being included? This beats BMD by miles.

The addition of the headphone jack for monitoring would be a welcome addition. And something as small as a power button. Both of these seem like no brainers but for some reason Blackmagic left them off.
This product is the one!
I think a missing feature is the ability to control the switcher in your network via an sdk. Only reason I choose the Atem over this.

Great review. I've been working with the GoStream Deck for a week. So far my biggest issue is audio related. I want to match quality of the live stream worship . Apollo to Cubase to OBS. I replaced OBS w/GoStream , audio quality is not the same. Need plugins in GoStream.
Really appreciate this. I would love to see a tutorial video, especially for setting up the up and down stream keyers.
The switches (buttons) are obviously from the same supplier as BMD. I guess that’s why they used the “black” button as Super source as the BMD button set does have a black but not a Super source

Hi, I recently discovered this switcher and it seems very interesting to me (I have the Atem mini Pro). How does it handle heat? When you record is it still possible to read a video from the SD card? What format is the recording on the SD card and is it possible to record a couple of hours in FullHD? (that is, what is the maximum SD capacity it accepts?) thank you very much
We have a good control of the power consumption. It can record and play at the same time. The recording format is the same as the output format; The recording time depends on the SD card used by the user.

I like that. Has the dsk button on it. Only issue I have is I have an external drive connected to my atem mini (usb c). That one I can't use one of the usb c ports to record. I have to use a slower card to record to
I notice this only allows single source recording. This would be my first switcher purchase, and I feel having all inputs recorded for ability to edit after the live event seems like a crucial add on for anyone using multiple sources. Am I wrong? What do I need to know?
Really depends on your application and what you need. Can you record on your cameras?
@@BallastMedia one allows direct recording. I’ve never played with this while also streaming. Strangely, never considered it. I’ve always recorded on the streaming app. Would much rather have a hardware solution. I’ll play with this, thanks for the suggestion
@@JeffKuhnIf ISO recording is an important requirement for you then the blackmagic Atem ISO models are probably the way to go.
So if I wanted to use without computer I would send the signal out of my program out or multi-view? Never mind. Heard the answer 03:06. Thank you for sharing.

How do you enable the aux for the keyer and how do you setup the keyer for the overlays
can the multiview layout be changed? I wished the preview should be on the left and the program on the right as it is in many video switchers.
Yes, you can actually swap that in the menu!
Menu>settings>mv layout to swap them.

@@osee_tech Please try to include the Alpha Channel ability of NDI into the switcher for overlay graphics, especially since it will be a paid addition. This will be a killer feature.

I recently got the deck and after successfully connecting my sony fx3 to the osee deck via an HDMI cable the first time around, now it doesn't register on the switcher. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, what's the solve was?
Are you sure you haven't set your camera to 4k resolution? The fx3 will output 4k on it's HDMI out, so that won't work on the gostream.
Hello! - Gosh I hope you can legitimately answer this question, I purchased two of these switchers and I think they are are great, BUT I purchased them based on the fact that the manufacturer and YOU said you could use the USB2 #2 output as an ISO Out (and it was assignable) when I received my units I could not find how to configure the USB2 OUTPUT, could you help me with this?
This feature is why I purchased the units, If it doesnt have this capability I may have to return them. THANKS so much, in advance.
Menu > Settings > out source > UVC.
(uvc means usb video class)

No, no software needed.
Can this be combined with the ATEM Mini Pro?
What exactly are you wanting to combine? You can always run the HDMI out of one into an HDMI in of the other.
