All I can say is don't hold the clutch in so much, let your engine help with braking and downshift as needed. Other than that don't listen to anyone else, just enjoy the ride and stay safe!

Nice! I have a 2022 50th Anniversary edition. I've been riding for more than 40 years and I love this bike. I really don't understand when people say this bike is slow? It will go faster than I will ever need it too. Ride safe! 😎

I just purchased same:bike, color, year! 2days ago.Been riding 50 plus years. Be sure to study the owners manual! I still have to study mine.Your right, go real easy on break in period. Study that manual,theres adjustment s on the screen to be made!! And be sure to stay on top of chain maintenance! Coming from personal experience. PITS..Very athletic dogs,highly intelligent, quite the handful, again coming from experience. Enjoy your new bike, and yes, for some reason cars don't see motorcycles!😊

It is not necessary to hold the clutch while engine is in neutral while you stand still. And it is not necessary to squeeze the clutch to the end when changing gears.. Fifty percent of the way is enough to separat while you change gears.. Good luck brother😊

💯🙏. Your right. I'm getting use to the clutch as a beginner. 50% squeeze will change the gears. I feel it too. Especially at higher speeds. Thanks 👍

Actually 0% squeeze will still shift gears as smooth as silk if you just snap the throttle off then smoothly back on. "Clutchless shifting" ftw.
I noticed my 650 shifts way smoother if i short shift from 1st to 2nd. After that, clutchless shifting works awesome.
Ride nice and easy you got nothing to prove its a fact
by the time, you let your bike just roll out, might be better not to hold the clutch for that long, try to have always a proper gear in, just in case you need to accelerate suddenly :-)

If your bike is brand new and still being broke in the tach will begin to flash around 4k try to not go over it lol

and you press the clutch and brake, it's an error

That’s cool been watching alot of vids. I like these bikes too since they look pretty comfortable and sporty at the same time. Either a cb500f or this z650 or a cafe race and or a harley sporter. But this seem to have the sweet spot.
