    Hey all. Still working through the move, but we are pretty well settled in at this point. I'll probably be creating more stream-vlog style content like this for now until I start figuring out a way to test ride more motorcycles for you. While I would like to test ride this one through the dealership I'm currently working at, they are not as lenient as the last store I worked at, and I haven't even been an employee for a month yet. Perhaps once I become trustworthy enough (in their eyes) they might let me use some of the inventory, but I'm not banking on it.
    If you are located in St. Charles county Missouri and have a bike you'd like for me to review, hit my email in my about tab on my channel!

    In a world where every manifacturer makes a 270 crank parallel twin I'd say keep it 180. I like the sound it does, but even more I like the way it makes power. 68HP looks weak but since I am remapping my own bike on a dyno this engine hides it's power. I'm not a racer and I won't pretend to be one but on paper I'd prefere a 180 firing order over 360 and 270. Get a V2 for the engine note.
    Mine, with a tune, full exhaust (roadsitalia), cat and dbkiller, stock air filter already does 70Whp on 95octane fuel (italy) even though I put only 100 octane fuel. My 2023 euro 5. We should see around 75whp with the sprint filter f1-85 and the 3d printed velocity stacks. Anyway top end power is not my goal, I just want it to spread the power across all the range since I use it daily. Tuned after 2600km. Today she has less than 4000km, so I'll see what's happened on the first maintenance check. Anyway it's funny to see the KTRC fight back trying to hold the wheel down. And if you are brute enough you may have it intervene also in 3rd gear. In 2nd and 1st gear when stock it was perfectly strict. Just allowing the shocks to extend but no wheelie. Now it doesn't intervene soon enough and you may just briefly hover the front wheel.
    Did I mention it's my first bike ever? Got my A3 license in 2024. Anyway I got rid of the terrible on-off throttle response and made the engine brake weaker. This gave me much more confidence on the bends. Those two things alone are worth the tune.

      @@Omni_Moto man, there's a few months left to riding season. Hopefully you can get back to doing some in depth reviews again. But I'm more worried about you taking care of whatever it is that you need to take care of first. Trust me I'm no stranger to life stuff popping up and slowing me down from my passions.

    When is the 800nk coming to the states?

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Since the KTM supplied powerplant in the 800NK is already EPA compliant, I can't imagine CF wouldn't have it here by _at least_ 2025. If it's not announced by next April for USA, I'd be concerned of it not showing up by 2024.
      The machine is already available in the UK (I think), so I'm hopeful that the full blown westernization of the machine is not far off for us here in the states.
      I feel like I woke up one day and the 450SS, along with the Ibex 800 were both there on the website. There was some hype surrounding those machines making their way over, no real chatter from CFMOTO themselves, and then *_BAM_* they were on the website for the USA market.
      They have also updated their website recently from the looks of it, but no news of the 800NK on there yet. We'll see it...Eventually. 😵‍💫

      @@Omni_Moto they'll probably just tune it down a bit and fit a huge ahh exhaust and voila, it's US compliant 😂.

    Eh, not sure about the Z650, It's basically just a ninja 650 with less plastic. Or is the Ninja 650 basically a Z650 with more plastics?

      The Z650 is mid lol. Nothing super special about it, but it hangs in with the competition when it comes to real world use. I think the Z brand actually came before the Ninja brand, so I guess the Ninja is a Z with more plastics. 😂
