I’ve just got this September Travellers notebook and I absolutely love it. Looking at more expensive ones on Amazon it’s really a great choice. If you total up the cost of accessories that come with it, it’s exceptional value. Also watching how you’ve put the plastic wallet in the back inside the cardboard sleeve has solved my thoughts on how to use those 😀 Great video and I hope you do another as this notebook ages 😀
@@manvstationery I put the pen clip onto the last cardboard sleeve at the back, goes on easily and stays firn. The pen stays within the notebook edges, and the bonus is no marks from it on the leather. It’s also clipping the sleeve closed at the top of it stopping my small ruler and post-it notes coming out 😀
I have the same cover from Amazon! I love it, and I like that the band is attached to the spine instead of the middle of the back cover like the official traveler's notebooks that I've seen.
I have the same journal from 2019 and it's still going strong. My patina is darker but thats mostly because I've used leather conditioner on it a few times. The original elastics are still great even!
@@manvstationeryI mostly did it for better waterproofing, but mine is pretty soft. Is it softer than it would be without conditioner? I couldn't say, but some leather care is never a bad thing
I looked at the calendar from them when I got the free ones but was unsure of the paper quality. Although I do use their dot grid books so I'm now assuming it's the same paper 👍
Thanks for the video! And I'm echoing another comment on the passport size of the September Leather notebook: it would be great to see how the midori inserts fit in it compared to Field Notes.
I have been considering getting the September leather passport size but I'm not too sure about the size since I have heard that the dimensions are different from the midori passport cover.
I also have a smaller one, it is indeed bigger than the midori (travellers company) it's more the size of field notes. Personally the main reason I stopped using it was so I could use midori diary inverts. If this is not your plan there are lots of inserts the correct side for it. If I remember I guess I should do a video comparing the two 👍

I received mine a few days ago. It’s my first tn. I absolutely love it.
Awesome im glad you are enjoying it :)

I've never had a problem with the band on the back but I know it's not for everyone though so this does work well 👍
It’s taking on a great patina and character. Another excellent video!
Thank you very much. Yeah the leather is definitely wearing in nice and I'm sure I'll have it for many years to come 👍
Your video when you got it was my inspiration to finally get one. I use it daily and a lot for work and I absolutely love it :)
That's brilliant I'm so happy my rambling on TH-cam was useful for someone else 👍

That is promising, does the conditioner make it softer ??

I have the wanderings brand from Amazon . So far not bad. I bought some calendar inserts for it rather than free hand a calendar/planner.

I have the A5 size from September leather, also had it about 4-5 months, and I love it.
For the price they are making some amazing stuff 👍 thanks for watching

Thanks for the comment I have just a video planned to come out soon :) …….well as soon as i film it lol
I made that decision based on your much earlier video. The leather is very masculine and tactile.
That’s great to hear :) I’m liking the way its ageing :)
Good Video -- THANKS for the Progress Check -- Can I ask where you purchased the Dual Pen Holder? THANKS
Thanks for watching I got the pen holder from Etsy www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1547174142/personalized-leather-pen-pencil-holder

I would love to see a comparison!
