I have the standard TN and 3 of the A5 to hold my sticker release books. These are great! I bought all of them on Black Friday one time when they were on sale. I am purging covers and will be keeping these.
Oh, that's great! It's hilarious because I was thinking of doing the same thing! I got one sticker release insert and am thinking, I like these, I could use a few more! These are great covers, glad you like them also!
Hello! I own the Stardard size TN cover from September Leather and I love it. I usually change out my cover pretty frequently but since I purchased this cover, I can't bring myself to stop using it. I had it for over a year and it still smells wonderful. When I first received it, it was on the darker side but now it has lightened up a lot. It has become more flexible with use and it is sooooo soft to the touch, every time I pick it up I just have to stroke it. YES, I love this cover! My one regret is that it doesn't come in more colors, I would buy them all!
Hello! Thanks so much for sharing your feedback and experience! It's awesome to hear that after a year, it's help up very well! How interesting that it has lighten up a bit too! I have a video coming about conditioning this and other leather pieces with Leather Balm! Something to consider if you're interested in richening up the leather and color! I absolutely agree, if they had more color options, that would be sweet. Maybe they will in time to come!
You really were prepared for this comparasion! This was one on my potential buys. It does look nice and I was curious about how people felt about the spine. I've only seen two videos on the passport size, so thank you for this video. I do like the slim look of the original Midori, but that does have the drawback of needing the bands to hold more than one insert. Look forward to the others!
The size of this September Leather passport is fantastic. I actually really like the spine, but if you're not using enough inserts to fill up the space then it's just not necessary. Very pleasantly surprised by this product! You'll be seeing it again in another video:)
I love both of my standard size September leather, one you have and a cheaper one with extra things, from Amazon both. 😍 I like them more than my travelers company because it fits more, it’s cheaper, feels better and smells better !😅😂 I
I must say, I am a big fan of this traveler's notebook by September Leather. It's well made, very well designed, and has a whole lot to offer at a great price point!
I have this as my EDC with a two notebooks, a leather wallet insert, a plastic wallet insert and a Kraft folder and I love it. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit a Kaweco Sport in the loop, but I’ve attached it with a brass clip. It will fit a Parker Jotter fountain pen. I have the a6 for my Hobonichi techno and weekly inserts/ notebooks.
Mine fits a Oswego AL comfortably. If you are up for it, wet your pen loop, stretch it with your pen, and leave it to dry around the pen. Then condition. Should solve your problem with your pen.
How much of a difference does the passport vs a6 size make? I’ve been using a 6x4 composition notebooks and enjoy the size so I feel like a6 would be recommended. But I’m concerned it will be too much with all the leather and inserts so I’ve considered getting the pass port size instead because I know people say pocket size can fit which is so similar to the a6 size depending on brand and insert. I could always buy both and take one back, but I want to avoid that if I can.
I just bought the A6 size for my Commonplace books. Mine arrived in excellent condition! And the one inch spine fits my exact needs. The pen loop in mine fits my Kaweco AL Sport comfortably, unlike another commenter's experience. I decided to condition mine with Renapur and rolled it as the leather was slightly on the dry side. The build quality is excellent and the leather supple and soft. For the price its better than I could have hoped for. This little cover will be with me for years to come.
That's fantastic! So glad to hear more positive feedback about these September Leather covers! Yes, I found that conditioning was greatly helpful to mind. It's been several months, and I think it may be due for another light coat! Very pleased with mine as well, and as you said, for the price, it's very good indeed:)

@incognitoedc this is an Excellent tip!! Thank you!
I love September leather my PP, Stnd, and A5 are all smooth. My b6 and a6 I just purchased last month have the speckled look
I carry 6-8 inserts in it and love the chunk
That awesome! Great hearing all the positive feedback! I'm so curious why some are speckled... interesting.
@managingmarlys woah, that's serious. How does it handle that many inserts? :)

This fits my Moleskine Daily perfectly! Love it ❤
That's awesome! I really like mine as well! Still trying different papers out.
Is the company still active? I have sent them emails but they don't answer.
I know their products are still readily available, but I've never tried to contact them with any inquiries. Did you go to their direct website?

@@fountainPENdulum Yes, I did but I haven’t received an answer. Do you think I can still buy a notebook? Or should I wait until they respond?
What is the question, maybe myself or someone from the community can help you answer the question?
