Sure Phil Cope is clearly a disciple of Iommi, but I think he brings another element to the table. One of the most underrated guitarists ever in my book!
They sound so good live. I would have loved to see this lineup back in 1983.
It really blows my mind how good first 2 albums are. Especially the first
@@andrejz8954 I'd take Death Penalty and Friends of Hell over any Sabbath album, with the exception of Sabbath's debut and maybe Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
@@Ryan_Thompson_Guitarist I'd put almost every Ozzy sab album over their debut actually. Sabbath B Sabbath and Sabotage still being my faves by far.
@@Ryan_Thompson_Guitarist How you gonna miss out most of sabbaths best albums lol, Paranoid to Volume 4 was easily their prime period
@@youreatoilet All their work was prime. Tech Ecstayc... Never say died were argually their best.. They modernised in the mid 70s
Bought the first album in the mid eighties for the album cover
Stayed for the music
One of my favorite bands
Wish they played I lost you on here...great live...Zeeb rules...
Love these guys !! I was in grade 10 when all this stuff was on our turntables we were blown away how these guys sounded like sabbath and maybe (better ??🤔) just glad to have more of something similar
Free country 0:28
Burning a Sinner 4:10
Witchfinder General 7:41
Requiem for Youth 11:26 (this track is doubled in the album, starts again in 15:56)

@@IanThatMetalBassist i Love your Blue Oyster Cult photo
This is pure gold omg, I wish I could be there.
Ahhh some good metal still blasting in 2021-forever
There has to be footage of this, something anything!!!
Fantastic! Couldn't even get stellar tracks such as R.I.P. Soviet Invasion, or Satan's Children in the set at this point. Most underrated band ever.
Quite.
We had it on our turntables in grade 10 what a time venom, general, fate... priest, maiden, motorhead, queensryche, ozzy, scorps🤟🤟🤟🤟
My all time favorite underground British band, they should have went onto be massive, thank you so much for this wee gem 🤘🤘
First record I downloaded just because of a cover. Stayed for music and a first time contact with the term nwobhm. Fan for life. Long live nwobhm
best doom of the NWOBHM
To comprehend the cosmic scheme, see the truthbehind my dream !
With the exception of the recording quality, they sound great live.
Love the Black Sabbath-ish-ness!
Sucks there’s no footages of them live just pictures and this
Agree! Has to be video somewhere!
@@mattvargo9944I think Phil Cope said somewhere that videos of live performances are on someones VHS tape, collecting dust on some shelf..
the more you listen to the more you apreciate, this band is not perfect but my godness, how much heavy is it
We loved it in grade 10 it was part of our black metal collection !! Right after the Jean jacket n patches thing was going the adornments got heavier now u see kids with these "nwobhm cuts" things they paid $400 for bur ours was just scrapped together for peanuts (or 1/2 jar of PoT OiL) 😄😄
Phantasmagorical...
Amazing band.
The greatest band on earth
I was in kindergarten with no idea that this was going on.
I was in my dads balls.
🤣🤣🤣, some peoples parents RIGHT!!! I was sheltered too...
But HEY🤪🤪🤪, we caught up didn't we lol
@@heatherbell...akahurricane8910 yes we did
Listening to these guys....ALWAYS puts me in SUCH a better mood💝
@@heatherbell...akahurricane8910 hell yeah
So good as Black Sabbath with Ozzy
NEVER
@@Thetrueking-gr2ss you're right, they're better, the black sabbath they're not as good as is dio sabbath
@@pkepix5405 this is true, because Dio IS metal🤘
@@pkepix5405 Of course opinions differ, but come on sabbath with Ozzy basically invented metal, and to this day those early Iommi riffs are still heavy as fuck. Dio is a great singer but imo far too theatrical/operatic to be considered anywhere as heavy as the original lineup, so much so that I consider it more like classic 80's rock and not metal
@@youreatoilet I'd argue that born again and the martin era are arguably heavier
awesome
SALUDOS DESDE LIMA PERÚ
Too bad this wasn't filmed
Love on smack is cutting, sad my favorite song
GREAT \M/
🔥🔥🔥
Heaps good live ,
Ya montano kicks ass i heard they are puttin something together some new people

HEY NOW !!!!
Damn slow speed
great live album, hey man i like the saviour, is it your project or band? reminds me of pagan altar
thank you, yes it was
This is the fixed version
Also fixed tone but then started cutting out around 53 minutes till the end...
That' s a fucking pain in rhe ass....
I saw em then saw em with new dudes not as good if. the original ever got voice back he'd go back out #resurection new singer one good song on record
i like the original lineup. new stuff does no interest me, unless zeb ever comes back
@@dyr234 this
Did Zeeb loose his voice?
@@andrejz8954 Think he's finished with Rock N Roll.
the bass sounds like a rubber band
haha i love it
That's what's cool about it. :D
sounds like a old man fart
That's what happens when you tune to C standard on a Rickenbacker
hey Ryan I see you play or at least your tube says guitarist can you play any of there stuff?
I started learning R.I.P a while ago, but nothing else.
The bass sounds like a old man fart.....but man i love this band
This is better than seafood💀💀💀
Can you possibly re-upload this? The audio on No Stayer and Love On Smack is all choppy and unlistenable.
What pub was this recorded at? Ruskin Arms?
All tracks recorded live at Tiffany's, 27A Oxford Street, Manchester - Wed. 6th July '83 except B V and start of D X - The Palais, Humberstone Gate, Leicester - Thurs. 7th July '83. Remastered at Icehouse Studios, Stourbridge. Thats what i found on discogs
@@Fils666 Thank you. So glad this was recorded and preserved for eternity! Would have loved to have been there
one of the best ever Dave is bad
fix the gotdam last three songs those r best one u jakkal
Yeah, what the fuck??!!
where the fuck is shadowed images?
What about Requiem For Youth as well? Too many good songs to get in.
I hate how he phrases the lyrics on some songs.
Early doom metal from a cult band. Great guitar sound. It's a pity the drums sound so lame both live and on the studio recordings.
The bassist is lame and so is whoever ran the soundboard at the show
The drumming is great on Death Penalty and they sound good enough. Not sure what happened on Friends of Hell.
