@Haunter of the Dark no crap i misreap comment. But after sst Vitus records everyone had a doom scene. Hell after black sabbath everyone had a doom scene.
When you walk around in a small Italian village during autumn and you see the brown leafs whistle in the wind near the local cemetery, only then will you understand this album.
Any Old 💀 Cemetery, Like a French One, With Trees and in Autumn, With Brown 🍂 Falling Leaf Of Course .......Can Do The Patrick as Well? (i Was Joking.) No Bad This Band. It Sound Like a is From The 70's Psycodelic -Space-Rock. With Some Sabbath's influences...✍🏽
One of my favourite albums of all time. Italy has really cranked out some awesome stuff over the years...this, Goblin, Paul Chain, Abysmal Grief and IMO the best gothic horror movies ever made
This really is the greatest doom band to come after Black Sabbath. It's so unique and interesting, not just straight up Sabbath worship like so many others.
Thank you. I was just listening to a super low volume Demoniac City on youtube. Even with every volume gauge set to max, it was a whisper. This is better.
Read a good review on this album in which the writer gave a great analysis of it: "I know I have seen painting murals on the side of old building in Cuba, Mexico, New Orleans, etc where they honor and fear their dead in a supernatural way the looks exactly like that".
WHEN I HEARD THIS BAND REMEMBERED ME TO BLACK SABBATH FIRTS AGE BUT EVEN MORE DARKEST AND DOOMY WITH PSICO SOUNDS OF AMAZING SYMPHONIES .TRUE ROCK FROM THE PITS OF DARKNESS.............
Woow thats great , this is like fathers of Black Magick SS and Edelweiss, i like the raw unpolished sound, thats incredable album !!!! Pure atmosphere i love it !!! These riffs and chorus ....
No conocia esta banda ...y vaya sorpresa ....me recuerda mucho otra banda de esas subterraneas e ignoradas por mala suerte de estar bajo la sombra de black sabbath,,,witch fynder general...en fin,,,excelente banda...muy buena.
This album is strange. There are elements of it that I love like the riffs, keys, and atmosphere, but I feel like sometimes the different layers just don't quite mesh together well when played at the same time. And yet I still keep coming back to it. Its intriguing.
+Aegianlulz *Mercyful Fate - Don't Break The Oath* *Opera IX - Sacro Culto* *Inquisition - Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult* *Mortuary Drape - Secret Sudaria* *Lunar Aurora - Andacht* *Urfaust - Geist ist Teufel*
Dear Purpley Drankington, Thanks for uploading a killer album! just a quick question or two, Why is this version over an hour while discogs, metal arcives etc list this as only being 44 minutes? Is this some kind of limited edition or did you slap on some of there other stuff onto the album to lengthen the video? I'm trying to track down the lyrics to Angels of Lucifer, my favorite song on this. Cheers!
I've listened to doom for years and only now do I realize Italy had a whole doom metal scene in the 80's....
I guess you didnt listen to doom. If you have never listened to st. Vitus.
@Haunter of the Dark no crap i misreap comment. But after sst Vitus records everyone had a doom scene. Hell after black sabbath everyone had a doom scene.
@@deathtomichaelknagge4397 Not actually, Italy boasts one of the largest Doom Metal scenes, since the 80s..
Si, it's called Doomo Italiano. Well known there.
paul chain
This is a pure cult album. Sounds eerie and macabre.
Clássic heavy/Doom Metal !!
The title track solo gives me life
This band is somehow more Paul Chain than Paul Chain himself LOL dig it
HAHAHAHAH
True!
well, no
This was recently re-pressed on vinyl in 2015 by High Roller records.
Gotta be one of the best original metal albums! Dooooooom
"End Of All Times" это же Dungeon Synth как сейчас называют. ))
i can dig this
what, really? more people should know about this amazing shit!
This album reminds me that I really don't listen to enough doom metal.
This is fucking great!
italy doom
❤⭐☀ great band
Primitive doom metal... Wow!
Very interesting anyways. Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd is what i get.
Hawkwind
Figon !!!
the singer is a kind of clown or what ahahaha
Just to remember, Black Sabbath movie is from Italy. that country know how to be dark
directed by mario bava who also directed black sunday
Lucas Ferreira And let's not forget The Vatican is there too (dark, if you the history)
Well said!
Mafia, the Vatican, Mussolini, about as dark as it gets besides Germany and Russia

Well shit guess I’ll never be a fan of this

I come from a small italian village, you're damn right man!!!!!!

THANKS A LOT ( LUTHER GORGON)
Sounds straight out of an Argento film
Argento, Fulci and Bava.
This really is the greatest doom band to come after Black Sabbath. It's so unique and interesting, not just straight up Sabbath worship like so many others.
One of the best doom metal albums I ever listened to.
Fuckoff..R.I.P
Real
Its good, but come on man. Not in the best category. Nothing on it is truly exceptional. Like Psalm 4, Born Too Late, Epicus and so on
One of the best metal albums of all time.
So are Dark Quarterer, Paul Chain, Death SS, the Black, Requiem, Epitaph, Sacrilege, Jacula, Goblin, etc etc.
Italian doom is the peak of doom horror!
You forgot Opera IX.
... and Necromass, Mortuary Drape, Evol...
@@fernandopenalva2680 what about Candlemass?
@@diegoferrero7657 Estamos hablando de banddas italianas. XD
When Eloy moved to Italy and decided to play doom
I love Eloy.
hahaha nice joke... but makes sense.
Who is Eloy ? Just found out about this band
@Haunter of the Dark I think its more progressive rock than psychedelic rock.
Very nice album, wonderful to drink some rum or spiritual alcoholic drink or maybe just a joint... it gives you another perspective of life
This is A MASTERPIECE!!! Very Great album
SUPER THANKS (LUTHER GORDON)
I'm melting into my seat. Thank you...
best album to listen high, psychedelic heavy doom
This is amazingly BAD ASS. Thanks for this upload; what a wonderful discovery.
I had to unlike it to keep it at 666 likes
K, now like it again
Still got the OG LP of this. The back cover has a photo of the band members standing around a Childs coffin.
ArcaneArchivist sent me here
Dude is responsible for such a large portion of new stuff I listen to, this is beyond killer!
got the lp because there was no cd release and bought a record player just to be able to listen to it offline. good stuff.
This album is more goblin than goblin.
...10 years later 🖤😎

Thank you. I was just listening to a super low volume Demoniac City on youtube. Even with every volume gauge set to max, it was a whisper. This is better.
Masterpiece of the history of italian doom/dark metal
Kudos to Ryan Skow from Pete Pardo's Sea of Tranquility show Hudson Valley Squares for recommending this......AMAZING!!!!
I´m here because of that too....amazing stuff
I'm here too because of them, they've turned me on to so much great music since I started listening to them a few years ago.
Horror Doom! Italians knows how make dark and grim music.
Because living here is dark and grim. :D

Gabriel Vilches ghost is like this band hahaha ,or trie to be :P
There’s just something about Italian metal, prog, and horror movies. They really know how to do bizarre right.
Album cover looks like it belongs as a mural on an elementary school playground
I went to that school
Read a good review on this album in which the writer gave a great analysis of it: "I know I have seen painting murals on the side of old building in Cuba, Mexico, New Orleans, etc where they honor and fear their dead in a supernatural way the looks exactly like that".
Or the Denver Colorado Airport.
@Mikke Joel fascinating. The cover was a drawing by a member of the band which he associated to the song "Spectral World".
Hey so true ! hahaha
Land of electric funeral
Also check out the first 2 albums by Sarcofagus (Finland) , both from 1980. Kinda similiar to this, but not quite as dark.

These Italian Doom bands are superb!
yeah, I can't wait for the next Gothic Stone album to come out.

Does anyone know who did the artwork on this Album? Its looks like John Wayne Gacy's work.
It was done by one of the band's members, and It referenced the track "Spectral World" and also the band's name (the black holes in the tombs).
The álbum of the history of doom.
Excellent.
Brillante.
6:10 electric funeral
Should be considered proto black
Nop! This is Prog doom sicodelic metal.
Love the name BLACK HOLE. I wish I would have thought of it.
There are more than 11 bands in the world with this name

13:16 i thought they were going to play stonehenge by spinal tap lmao
Perfect Samhain Ost fit!!!
"Overture" is so close in arrangement and sound to Iron Maiden's "Ghengis Khan"
Blind Men and Occult Forces..

*I wonder if Opera IX were listening to this band, it sure sounds like it.*
L٥ﻻﻉ√٥υ You can hear it alot in then guitar work huh thats what i thought..
Acid rock, not metal
Good stuff!!! Psychedelic Doom!
Great stuff. The synth intro calls to my mind Burzum's "Channelling The Power Of Souls Into A New God".
No.
Marduk for sure listened to Blind Men for an inspiration for Summers End from La Grande Danse Macabre.
🕯 Pure poetry in music 🕯
I love this record
Makes me proud to be Italian. One of the true occult greats.
agree same.
I cooka da meatball
I love the progression here!
Muy parecida a Saint vitus

Masterpiece
Not bad! Reminds me of Paul Chain-era Death SS and Victor Griffin-era Pentagram...
Bapitty bopitty doom?
Angels of Lucifer is a great arrangement of Iron Maiden's Transylvania
