You join me today at @NVMotorsportUK for some more mods for my MK5 Golf GTI! We install a set of 30mm lowering springs along with a set of 10mm spacers, and the finished result is EPIC! I think the MK5 needs to head back to NVM soon, but for some more power...

If 100k is considered high mileage, I must be really out of it. On petrols, over 170k is high mileage for me and diesels, it's gotta be over 250k for me to consider that high mileage.
Great video I really like to see the MK5 getting some love it deserves I think since the labor was already being done swapping the springs I would’ve just done the shocks at the same time because it is inevitable that those shocks will not last much longer. I love the look I owned one of these in 2007 and I almost want to buy another after watching these build restoration videos.

I highly rate H&R, have these exact springs on my gti and was really impressed with how the car rode compared to stock. Definitely worth getting if you don't want to or can't stretch to decent coilovers

When I had my mk5 gti I was running vmr 710s gives the car a more aggressive look highly recommend those
I've done 15mm on back and 12 on the front h&r looks good.

Great video and on my doorstep literally, i went down to NVM but no one was around to talk too about my MK5 GTi, so took some leaflets, but no price guides inside, looking at exhaust upgrade to Remus or Scorpion but unsure, it only seems possible to contact NVM by email, but you and another youtuber called A Ellis gave NVM good recommendations.
How is your Cobra exhaust, always wondered how loud it is, is it ok to live with on a daily basis?

Question... why people in uk drive top cars and tune up cars when they don't have where to drive it as you usually get stuck in traffic, only reason I can think is to drive it is on a track or to show of, otherwise I can't explain, own a mk5 gti and a crafter and I took over super cars with my van mostly than my gti

You are supposed to. But don't no one needs to know nothing. If they find out somehow say u bought it like this without knowing it was tuned!

I've seen that. I don't think they look that great to be fair. Can't beat the ED30 Alloys or the Monzas 18 inch on the Mk5

I have had spacers on my track Megane for 4 years and several friends have on theirs too when they are running standard wheels. No problems yet.

Luke mate, love your videos - these adverts are getting irritating, your car vertical promotion I understand as that's tailored to the content i'm watching and funds your video, but 5 seconds after you start talking i'm subjected to 2 'mid rolls' 1st an unskippable 02 advert then a huel advert that thankfully lets me skip. It seems to have got more prevalent this past few days. Is this something you can control or do you have no choice in the matter? I'd hate to see engagement suffer because of the seeming relentlessness of ads.
