- The newest vehicle from BYD is an all-electric sedan dubbed the "Seal," which has been launched in India at Rs 41 lakh and comes with three distinct powertrain options. One of its key highlights is its 82.5 kWh battery, which has a reported range of 650 km. It also gets a potent dual-motor performance version claiming a 0-100 kmph time of less than 3.8 seconds.

Its a speed breaker, not car stopper. That speed was low enough and it should not have grazed. I would rather have high ground clearance than worrying about semantics.
@aroy8731 agree with you & more over rules aside, that is real world scenario, thats how 99% of the people go over that speed breaker including the one who is commenting above, so K would take this kind of testing over a ultra slow side manuer like supercars.
Why not both. Follow rules n have good ground clearance. Btw, he did drive slow but i guess it needed 1kmph.

Maybe you should see how dangerously people drive.. for my experience, vehicles now go slow after a speed breaker was installed in our towns road.
In the past there used to be people who couldn't turn the car in front of our home and end up hitting tree or other standing cars in the road side..
The turn itself is not big but still many people are injured..

The new speed breakers are fine but old ones aren't removed yet...165 to 170mm ground clearance minimum in India... Any car having lower than this should be banned..

You don't know what you are talking about.
The great majority of EVs that catch fire are ones that use the Korean LG battery.
(Do a search online).
But most Chinese cars use only Chinese batteries.
And BYD also happens to have the safest batteries out of all the Chinese batteries.
BYD is the *ONLY* company in the world that's done the following 4 extreme tests on their batteries in public view :
(1) drill through the battery
(2) heated it in a furnace to 300°C
(3) overcharged it by 260%
(4) and run over it by trucks.
None of these resulted in a fire or explosion!
