Strange. Go to 'Apps' at the bottom right of the app and choose 'Contacts'. This should allow you to see it (assuming we're talking about the mobile app here). If we're talking about the web app (that this video demonstrates), just click on People > All Contacts to see your list. Hope this helps :)
Why can I not see my contacts in the Outlook New app? i always have to revert back to original version to see my contacts...
