Using my phone will try on my laptop

The only thing I can think of (without seeing your screen) is that you are trying to delete a recently viewed file from the recents tab which you don’t have ownership over, hence it cannot be deleted nor does the delete option show. Are you defiantly in ‘My Files’ on the left-hand side and trying to delete a file you have full ownership of?

@Andy_Todd hi thanks for replying I managed it was through the website it wasn't working but the app worked and had delete. Some reason it wasn't taking me to the app just the website and when it did I got it sorted.

Hi Beverly, not sure what’s causing this but the operating system shouldn’t make a different it you’re opening in a web browser. As I’ve mentioned to others in the comments, if no delete option is showing then make sure you’re looking at ‘my Files’ on the left-hand side. Sometimes, users are trying to delete files from the ‘recents’ tab, which includes files you’ve viewed but won’t necessarily have ownership of, hence these files cannot be deleted. Hope this helps🙏🏼

I’m not sure this is possible. If you’re going a lot of mobile uploads, perhaps create a note and copy/paste the description info across. To the best of my knowledge, this feature only works for web uploads.

Totally agree. I added the music to the reel but for some reason it came out way louder than I did during the upload prep stage. Noted!

Yeah, frustratingly, new folders can only be moved manually from within the favourites list. Usually, Outlook will try to order folders alphabetically, which might explain why yours in the middle. A workaround might be to place sequential numbers before your folder names (e.g. ‘1-‘ followed by ‘2-‘ etc. Hope this helps!

Yeah, sure. You need to locate the project and reopen it in edit mode, and then remove the content. I know within the latest version of AE locating the project can be a little tricky, so searching by name might help. Just make sure you update the link if you do make changes (re-publish).

These options should still be there. Best to log into the web version and visit Settings > General > Appearance and under 'Themes', expand the 'Classic' group using the down pointing chevron to view other themes. I'm not on my mobile at the moment but I suspect the option should be there too! Hope this helps :)

@@Andy_Todd Thanks for responding. The option for other appearances came back a few days after I posted here, so I'm now back to my original look - phew. I guess it was a glitch of some sort.

Also, web version has 10 different background images you can choose from, while the app only has 5. Dang. haha

Strange one. I know that I've had issues with some fonts in the past doing the same thing, sadly. It seems like it might be a bit of pot luck as to which font sets it can embed and which is can't!

Totally agree. Sometimes MS do the weirdest and silliest things. I also don't like the fact that there is a character limit to a template but it doesn't actually show the limit when constructing a template. I think their template tool could do with a fair bit of work!!

Strange. Go to 'Apps' at the bottom right of the app and choose 'Contacts'. This should allow you to see it (assuming we're talking about the mobile app here). If we're talking about the web app (that this video demonstrates), just click on People > All Contacts to see your list. Hope this helps :)

It's difficult to offer help without seeing your screen I'm afraid. The only thing I can think is that you're trying to delete a file from the 'Recents' list rather than the 'My Files' area, so it may be an already deleted file still visible in the list or a file you don't have ownership of.

@Andy_Todd I go directly to the OneDrive and delete a folder but it will not go away. Even after refreshing and/or opening a new instance of it

Yeah, that delay always happens. I notice this often when teaching Canva and in particular, showing people how to copy the content. I'm going to create new and updated Canva videos soon so keep your eyes peeled for them!

Not really beyond just making it easier to find the folder. In truth, folder management isn’t even really necessary in the same way as it was historically because the search facility is so good in outlook. For me, a combination of using a few favourite folders that I interactive with often and the search facility seems to work well enough.
