But is there an option to let the client see your availability and the decide that he needs for example 2h:45 starting from 8:10? Thank you for making this video! I'm a teacher and I'd love to use this software to allow students to book office hours with me, but I don't want to limit the appointments to 1 on 1. I typically meet with groups of between 1 and 4 students, who all book independently. Is there a way to make the time slots non-exclusive, so that a small number of people could book the same appointment? Thanks again 🙏

Thank you for your video! I have an issue that I need help with. At my company, we have two rooms where clients can book time slots for themselves, and I made two separate booking pages for the two rooms. However, microsoft calendar I guess is just using one calendar for both. What ends up happening is, when a client books Room A for 3pm, the calendar will show that Room B is booked for that same time slot. It doesn't show up as available for the Room B booking, even though it is. How do I make it so that it is two independent rooms being booked in my calendar? This has been very difficult to deal with, and we cannot have as many bookings as we can. I'd appreciate any tips or help with this issue. Thank you!

Great video, Kevin. My organization includes the option to book a meeting room when setting up an in-house meeting in Outlook. When I try to create a booking event, I see a location option, but it doesn't populate with the company's available rooms. Is it possible to incorporate the Rooms option in My Bookings?

I would like to know if it is possible to automate Booking by creating a planner task within Teams informing who the staff will do the task, but without allowing the client to choose the staff. The staff person has to be selected randomly through booking and then, with automation, send it to teams by opening a task in the planner informing who from the staff will do the meeting. One thing not shown here that's really annoying is that the Personal Bookings Page requires users to either sign in to the Microsoft account or click Continue as Guest. You can't bypass this, which is just terrible usability. Interestingly, if you set up a shared bookings page, the link does not require this extra step. *But* it creates a new, unlicensed Microsoft account based on the name of the shared calendar, and you can't reuse an existing MS email address). Why is nothing with Microsoft ever straightforward?!? They seem to really hate users!
I have been trying to make a public booking pager available for my students for wednesdays and thursdays for 30 min each. I select custom hours for those days and create the booking which booking does alright. But when i email it , it only shows wednesdays and doesnt show thursdays in the selection. I changed my regular office hours to include those days. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong

really do not understand why there is not "Open time" service option .. where customer can decide how much time he wants.. Also this app does not support booking "request" - so customer will request time window and i as service provider will approve it or reject it.. Like : "I as customer want to book car rental - Porsche 911" me as service provider will put there - Yes i approve it because we have one ready for you or .. reject request .. sorry our car was delayed or current customer extended rental... just example. Unfortunately "Booking app" is very simple and does not support lot of use cases I need :/
I have tried to set this up and my business hours are not working correctly. I am open M-F, and my business hours/office hours to book state this under business hour. However, it is only allowing people to book on Mondays only. T-F is grayed out with no meetings availalbe. Any advice?
Hi Kevin, Good day. We would like to know if this Booking Page is suitable for our booking purpose. We have around 100+ time slots available within the upcoming few months for the public to book and take up. Each time slot is an hour and can only be booked and taken up by one party/ voter. We would like to open up these slots for the public to vote, are we able to do so and if we could, are we able to generate the summarized report on the final voting result? During the voting process, we understand that voters could change and update their vote. Could be set a vote closing time? Will voters' detailed (name of voter / Organization) and their voting date and time slot booked be captured in the final voting summary report? Thank you. Chok
How can I sync the bookings calendar with multiple firm calendars? A booking appears on my personal calendar, but not where everyone in my company can see it.
For this to work for me I want to be able to select specific times on specific days to make a limited number of meetings available. Primarily as I have a number of different calendars so not all my events are in one place. I couldn’t see an easy way to do that in this tool.
this is possible through the Shared Bookings page, there's an option to set specific days and hours for that particular "service". And you can set it individually for each service you create.
In your video, it looks like your meeting is coming through as tentative and you have the option to approve it. Mine meetings are coming through as pre-approved. I can cancel or reschedule, but they are automatically accepted and it doesn't appear that there is an option to review or confirm.
@KevinStratvert - I am experimenting with a new Bookings page, and tested it out as the "invitee" from a separate computer using my personal email. When I attempted to book, I got prompted to login to a Microsoft account. When I rejected the Microsoft login, I was prompted to authenticate my email by clicking a link in a message Microsoft Bookings sent to my inbox in order to book the meeting. Is this normal? I am afraid of creating friction in the "book a meeting" workflow if guests have to login to Microsoft *OR* confirm a follow-up email to book... This seems like too much friction relative to other tools I have used (Calendly, HubSpot Meetings) - or am I doing something wrong?
there's a way to allow for people to join the meeting "anonymously" without the need to login to any account. It's a checkbox in the shared booking page.
I have an annoying problem: When others view my availabilities, they see my calendar in the wrong time zone. They first manually have to make the correct time zone setting when selecting a time slot. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

not really, because tentative is being seen as busy by the bookings tool. But if you set your availability to free on those specific meetings (has to be done manually) it could work

@@Eternal_Tech it’s pretty lame… I logged into a demo account for Nestor to show the end to end flow and made a joke that I was able to log in because I am the IT admin at the Kevin Cookie Company. TH-cam said: “Content that shares, threatens to share, encourages others to share non-public personally identifiable information isn’t allowed on TH-cam. This includes, but is not limited to, an individual’s home address, email address, sign-in credentials, phone number, passport number, medical records, and bank account information.” I guess they didn’t realize that Nestor is a fictitious character here at the company. I updated the video to remove the reference and blurred out all demo account emails. 😔

I have had comments deleted that contained nothing threatening, profane, illegal, discriminatory, etc. However, with comments, I receive no notice that they were deleted and certainly no reason for why they were removed. Many content creators have resorted to using code words when discussing certain topics in order not to trigger demonetization or worse. For example, TH-cam does not appear to like the "s" word when it comes to the action of a person taking their own life. Some have resorted to using the term, "self deletion," in its place. This occurs when "self deletion" is not encouraged, but just when stated as a fact or discussed as a social issue. In addition, online censorship by large tech companies has become a class issue. For example, expensive Hollywood movies often depict massive amounts of violence, s?xual situations, obscene language, acts of discrimination, inappropriate behavior, etc. However, not only does TH-cam allow such Hollywood movies on their site, they permit ads on them as well. Yes. When you "add a service" one of the options is Maximum number of attendees.

I agree, creating a new MS email address for the page is annoying, but on the other hand if you're creative with it, it doesn't look that bad.
