How refreshing to listen to a doctor who is knowledgeable and modest. I wish she was my GP.

This was by far the most succinct and useful video I've watched on eczema, and I've watched a lot of them. Thank you.

Contact dermatitis will react to lack of perfumed products and chemicals. Avoid hot baths and take lukewarm showers or cold if you can.
More pernicious chronic eczema has a strong emotional component. Meditation is phenomenally helpful.
It is all about inflammation ultimately and this is really helpful, especially the advice that everyone has different food triggers. I was hospitalised numerous times with eczema as a child and used steroids for 50 years before I managed to calm mine. Alcohol is major fir adults, in my case Tequila is tolerated perfectly well but no other alcohol.
Gut testing is vital too as sadly some probiotics can have an adverse effect.
God love you if you’re going through this I feel for you. Be kind to yourself.

You think natural probiotics found in fermented foods such as sauerkraut can be harmful??

You're so right about the emotional aspect, when my nervous system is relaxed and consume a trigger food I react less than consuming the same food with an activated and stressed nervous system.

So these things will work for seborrheic dermatitis? Also as I’m understanding, we shouldn’t really being seeing a dermatologist for this issue, as they typically only treat topical but not he root cause? What type of doctor should be treating this?
