YES Holly,❤️ I 100 percent agree with you that it's okay to hold onto smaller sized clothing! After several years, I'm finally able to go "shopping" for "new" clothing that I'd stored away. Many times I was tempted to just get rid of it all, but now I'm glad I hung onto my "fantasy self" clothes!

Yay!!! I'll get there. My energy has been crap going into my... "next season" but hopefully it'll get worked out soon.

Sooooo you are saying.... its ok to have 20+ sticker books?? Yeah, my hobby is putting stickers on paper. I think my future self will appreciate all the stickers!🎉

Wow that's so fun! Why not? Are they getting in the way and singlehandedly ruining your life? If not, KEEP!!!

Hubby & I are collectors some items we are selling on Facebook Marketplace. When we have narrowed down the collections & have time would be to find the perfect cabinets or shelves to display what we really love to keep. We have things but some items need to grouped together better & displayed. We also like to travel so the money we make reselling will go for more trips so its a good motivation to sell more.

Oooh that's nice motivation. And yes, I love looking at thoughtful collections of others. I think it's totally fine to have a bit of a curated collection or rotate through items. And a collection doesn't have to be permanent if you decide you prefer new-to-you over some things you are ready to let others enjoy.

Appreciate your view and I really do agree that there is absolutely no need to get of rid stuff if you’re not sure.

What a wonderful combination! I learned I have no patience for the nail polish to dry. I've even mussed up the InstaDri stuff. Luckily my nail girl might have gotten allergen free stuff soooo we're giving it a shot again tomorrow after almost a year!

Why do I kind of wish the tidy police existed 😅 and would visit my house.......gosh I have plenty of fantasy clutter including books I might read....one day 📚

I have a friend who intentionally hosts regularly to make sure they keep the house tidy. It's not the worst idea...I'm just not a natural host.

@@ManageableLiving I don't really have the room but it's a good idea, even having visitors I find difficult. I had to downsize due to circumstances out of my control and still have a tonne of stuff from my bigger house and I resent that I have to get rid of it. Not a nice feeling. Trying to get into a headspace where I feel comfortable getting rid on my own. Videos like yours have helped x

I totally get it. I feel like for a while I was constantly moving into smaller spaces. For books a few ideas are to see what's readily available at the library. That helped me a LOT. And these days I use Libby or Audible to listen to books in the car or whenever to keep from buying excess books.

Great! I know my opinion is against the grain, but... most people don't have unlimited disposable income. And I actually achieved minimally once and didn't know what to do with myself, like was I supposed to just sit and stare at blank walls? It's a great lifestyle for some but I'm perfectly happy being manageable.

I agree with you. You should keep the fantasy clothes. However, I believe you should be wearing them. Who cares if it’s to fancy as long as it makes you happy? I believe that just because you are a mother doesn’t mean that you have to wear leggings every day wear a pretty dress and feel your best self.❤

Agreed! If there's any deterrent on my end is whether it's physically comfortable. If I'm pulling or tugging at it, gone.
