As a bassist, I could listen to this all day believe it or not. Tim never ceases to amaze me. He is a never-ending conveyor belt of quirky totally unheard of coolest shit ever. Drummer is great too.
so refreshing to see this first thought he was gonna do the whole loop pedal thing , but this dude is just a riff atmosphere creator, doesn't need anything he just never gets boring
7:30... playing perfectly late on the beat. Feel... You young bass players, take note of where Tim's notes land in accordance to the drums/tempo. He positions his hits perfectly behind the tempo just a slight touch which gives the comfortable laid back feel.
My first time hearing it too. Lol. I think it happened at the beginning, right? Seems like it gives the tone a more outer space, techno type of feel. On some beep boop boop beep type shit. Lol. This is something I can see Jojo Mayer's band NERVE using. I saw a TH-cam vid of a concert they did, and the bass player of that group had some effects that took us to friggin space!!!!! 👨🏾🚀👨🏾🚀👽👽🌌🌌 So i guess it depends on the type of music you do. If techno or electronic type music is the genre, I can see the ring mod being a thing, ya know.

As a bassist, I totally agree with that statement!
As a bassist (and totally not the best) i love to play some similar jams with drummer
You "could" listen to this all day, but you don't? Just saying.
As a bus driver of 37 years,
l enjoy lots of bass.
Damn Tim creates a new Instrument out of the PBass I swear… awesome stuff.
I would watch a full show of just this
We need another Rig Rundown from Tim!! Killer sounds!!

That ring mod sound at the beginning is hella tasty

Also, kudos to that FELLOW DRUMMER!
What a clean signal man
Really weird and awesome sounds. I especially like that curvy bent cymbal and the whatchamacallit metal strips thing.
Great duet!
🐐
really digging this bit that starts at the 3:00 mark. wow!!
I just got that pedal just to use with a Future Impact v4 :)
tremendo groov
Pure beauty!
Does he have something like a momentary loop bypass switch on his pedal??
yes that's part of the Capo TL edition features
if tim lefebvre would collaborate with adrian belew...
Now do Wonderwall.
what is the red pedal?
That bass looks really cool. What does the switch do. Also, very seriously considering adding a CAPO to my rig.
It's our in house bass, switch is a tone bypass.
@@JADFREERAUDIO which model is it? thanks!
@@vinzjinc It's an America Professional modded with vintage bridge, lollipop tuners, Fralin pickups, gold anodized pickguard and a bypass switch.
I'd be curious to know what that switch on his Pbass preamp is.... Any guesses?
tone bypass
Nice, but tell us about the hightops, man!
what ist the first pedal in the chain? With the face on it? Thanks
Might be the Celebrity Pedals Taylor Shift Octaver
Drummer got that math degree
Does anybody know what pedal is the purple one?
Caroline Meteore maybe.
I too am curious as to what the red pedal is. Anyone?
I was curious too, thanks to the wonderful folks at talkbass, i'm now aware that it's Vorp FX Beardface.
@@martinjara7347 thanks!
Outside the what now?
I can never understand the appeal of ring modulators.
All the people that hire him will never care if you understand this or not.
It's ok 🫶🏽

It kinda levels up at 7:30 though! Best s*** is at the end.
You forgot to turn on the sound.
