Thank you for this update on Alvi's progress! If he has to wear a cone again (for something simple), perhaps as soon as he returns home, start brushing him. We know he would rather use his tongue to clean himself, but a brush will feel good and may do an acceptable job. I'm sure you both comforted him as much as you could. I look forward to the next video!
After watching this video, I went over to the Walter Santi channel (in Turkey) to see that a white-and-orange cat there was having eye problems as well, on top of trying to be accepted into a cat colony the humans have set up in their home. Another good story about how humans help cats and other animals as well! Those orange cats always have adventures!
I have seen that same video. I am a HUGE fan of this channel. You can almost feel how much this guy loves his cats and how much effort he makes to give them all a wonderful life. His videos already have brought me to tears several times.
@@Alvicatchannel -- I mentioned each of you on the other's channel. I hope that new viewers discover both of you. So big thanks to all who make and post fun and/or educational videos!
Corruntely I going through for the same process. I do understand the frustration to see our baby confused and out of the regular routine. It brakes your heart. Alvi did pretty good. Those cones are so tough. Our friend's cat had to have it as well for a hip surgery and the licking is the worst for them. They hate not being able to clean. Looking forward to seeing his progress. Good health to you Alvi!

Awww, bless him. Deedee feels your pain Alvi, she has dermatitis and every now and again it flairs up so she has to have the cone on for a few days and she just hates it too. I'm so happy to see you doing so well after a tough start and you'll be back to your normal self in no time I'm sure.

Poor baby! Don't you wish our cats could understand why we do things to protect their health. You are being wonderful cat parents, and we feel for you having to watch Alvi struggle without understanding wha the cone is for. It now sounds like he is adjusting well, thanks to the extra steps you took. Sending our support! - Kwazi Uli and Ginger
Alvi! You are so cute and handsome! The fluffiest badass! Best regards from Sophie and Roo. As for water, try getting those running water fountains for cats, they love the running water and it stimulates them to drink more.
Most likely, the confusion of coming home, wearing the cone and his panic after being frightened at bumping his cone on things caused the nausea and not drinking water. I'm glad the pills helped. So good to see him adjusting to the cone and his situation in general. So excited to see the next video. I'm sure he'll be so happy that the cone is removed. Just saw you had a Twitter and joined. I hope you will put up an alternate way to donate to Alvi for those who do not want a PayPal account.
My cat is going through this exact situation now. First night home. The wide water bowl was important for her to be able drink. I had to put her food on an upside down skinny pot so she could get the cone around the food and eat. Laying down to sleep comfortably and not being able to scratch her neck or lick herself are also things she has to get used to. She loves having her head scratched for her inside the cone because she can't reach it when she has an itch. We're getting there. Thanks for the video, it helped.
Thank you too for watching and your comment. The cone will always be an unpleasant experience, both for cats and owners. The only good thing is the relief you'll feel once the cone can be taken off :) Good luck!
It is not at all nice to be ill. Poor Alfi. I wish you a speedy recovery and that you can deal with the new situation as soon as possible. Have a nice weekend!
Thank you for this the vet gave me no instructions I didn't know about the frying pan feeding or big bowl doing this tonight our hearts break for our girl after her surgery.

Great tip, we'll do that!
@@Alvicatchannel -- I mentioned each of you on the other's channel. I hope that new viewers discover both of you. There is hardly anything as fun as watching cats (unless maybe it's baby African or Asian elephants). I just saw a video entitled something like "I surprised my husband with the puppy he has always wanted", and that was a fine video, too. So big thanks to all who make and post fun and/or educational videos!
Corruntely I going through for the same process. I do understand the frustration to see our baby confused and out of the regular routine. It brakes your heart. Today is the six day wearing a donuts type of collar, which is more comfortable than the hard plastic e-collar. He is still a little depressed but eating and drinking normally. Thank you for sharing your story. It makes me feel I am not the only one worry
It won't be easy for poor Alvi but with your love and care and the cats' extraordinary resilience he will be just fine. Love you, Alvi❤️❤️😻❤️❤️
Thank you so much! 🙏
Alvi is so much L♥️ved by everyone. Ty for sharing the updates with us ALL. HUGS AND GOD bless us everyone
You are welcome, more updates to follow!
My dear Alvi!!!!!
I'm soooo glad you're recovering well thanks to the Vet and to the love of your Adorable Humans!!!
I know that it wasn't easy for a Supercat like you to live all this but it's for your good!
Tomorrow will be a really Great Day for you!!! You'll have the cone taken away and so you'll can return slowly, day by day, to your so wonderful and adventurous life we all like so much!!!
All the Cretan cat parade and Lex the dog sends you their love and the say that you'll get in a perfect shape very soon!!!
Love you Alvi Cat and Adorable Humans!!!!!
Thank, we will keep you updated. Warm greetings from the Netherlands to Kreta!
Alvi did pretty good. Those cones are so tough. Our friend's cat had to have it as well for a hip surgery and the licking is the worst for them. They hate not being able to clean. Looking forward to seeing his progress. Good health to you Alvi!
Oh!!!
Thank you so much!!!!
Expecting you in Kreta with great pleasure!!!!
Fascinating island with a great history 👍
I am looking forward the removing of the cone!!! Dear Alvi❤️❤️❤️thanks for sharing
We will soon show you cone-less images :)

Aww, sweet little Alvi! Iam sorry that he had to lose the eye, and that his first few days of recovery were so miserable, but he will be doing so much better now! 💕💕 I hope you and the little human are well.

Thanks for your kind words. Highly appreciated! 👍
Awww, bless him. Deedee feels your pain Alvi, she has dermatitis and every now and again it flairs up so she has to have the cone on for a few days and she just hates it too. I'm so happy to see you doing so well after a tough start and you'll be back to your normal self in no time I'm sure.
That cone is horrible indeed! Thanks for passing by ❤️
Thank you for the news . I hope Alvi is doing well and adjusting to all of this. In any case he is well cared for. Soon no more cone..
kiss for the whole family 👍👋 😽.
Very much appreciated! 💕
Poor little Alvi. I HATE those cones! Am sure he is free of it by now. Sweet kitty. ♡
Cones are terrible indeed, so glad it's off now!
Poor little lovely boy... Hope hé will be well very soon 💗💗
Thanks a lot! ❤️
You're so strong sweet Alvi! ❤️❤️❤️
He is! And without a cone in the meanwhile :)
Alvi, I wish you a quick and full recovery! It is amazing how quick animals can improve after such major surgery! Soon he will feel goid as new!!🐱😺😏👍💕💕
Thanks, we are very optimistic too 👍
Thank God, I know he is BEYOND tired of that cone. Continued prayers for Alvi 💕
Guess you're right, the cone is absolutely worse than we expected.
I’m so sorry that you had to go through all of that trauma, Alvi but you’re such a fighter and you’re a sweet, handsome smart boy who is definitely well loved . I’m so sorry that you lost an eye Alvi but you will always hold a special place in my heart handsome boy. Hope that you’re adjusting to life with one eye you’re one special well loved cat . Keep fighting ,ok Alvi!! Love you very much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕💜💜💜💗💗🌹🌹🌹🌹🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
So far he has adapted very well 😻👍
I am sorry for Alvi, but it was necessary. I know he is going to be better!!! My cat also was sick I understand the situation of the food provider i was like him last week at the vet hospital.
Love Alvi!! Best wishes for Alvi and family... ❤💖🙋🏻♀️🐈
Yes, it's difficult to have to worry about your cat.... Luckily Alvi is doing much better now. Have a great day!
I felt so bad for him, most pets hate the cone! 😾but it looks like he’s really coming along! I can’t wait until he can go outside and rule the neighborhood again!! 👍😸Love u Alvi!! 💐💜🌻😻
Neither can we, thanks!
Thanks for your wonderful support 🙏 He is doing even better now, update to follow soon!
@@Alvicatchannel So happy to hear that! : ) 😼😸🐈
Alvi! You are so cute and handsome! The fluffiest badass! Best regards from Sophie and Roo. As for water, try getting those running water fountains for cats, they love the running water and it stimulates them to drink more.
Most cats prefer running water indeed, but for Alvi it somehow doesn't make any difference. Luckily he's a good drinker anyway :)
Any possibility of an Alvi video update before the 30th? Although we aren't wearing cones, ten days is a long time for anxious Alvi fans too!
Probably we'll upload a short video the 25th... So far he's only getting better :)
Dear Alvi~~ I’m so happy you are on the mend. All creatures should be Blessed by a loving caregiver. Be safe. Be well.
💕🐈🐾💕🐈🐾💕🐈🐾💕
Thank you so much, wish you a wonderful day!
Thanks, also for joing our Twitter account! I sure will consider your suggestion.
Bless his little furry heart and yours.
I can't stress enough how much we love it when people watch old Alvi videos 🙏
Poor Alvi! Praying for him to heal quickly and get back to his normal spunky self. 🙏🙏❤❤
We are working on it :)
@@Alvicatchannel Thanks for that. She is looking a bit better already. Cheers.
That breaks my heart, I love Alvi. Can't wait for the next update on him. Hopefully I will stop crying. Been praying for him since the beginning.
He'll get better. Will let you know soon 👍❤️
I want to see him with the cone off. Thankyou Donnie
It is not at all nice to be ill.
Poor Alfi. I wish you a speedy recovery and that you can deal with the new situation as soon as possible.
Have a nice weekend!
Thanks! His cone is already off, so we feel very relieved :)
😢bless your hearts!
Thanks! ❤️
Hello Alvi ! I hope you are going better now ! Courage Alvi and be strong. We love you.
😘😘😻😻💌💌
Thanks, feeling much better already!
Like 374 my friend, Poor kitty, but he is doing just fine, He has good parents.
Thank you very much, Gene!
Thank you for this the vet gave me no instructions I didn't know about the frying pan feeding or big bowl doing this tonight our hearts break for our girl after her surgery.
