- Another outing with the KH1, this time with a wire antenna. Lets tune a no transformer, 35ft wire antenna on 40/30/20/17/15m bands while we activate POTA.

Great video, I used a 51ft radiator and 12 ft counterpoise. My kx3 tuner liked tuning those lengths best after several other wire configs. Regards vk5cz .
Thanks for the info!
Fingernails on chalkboard; KH1 sidetone; brake squeeks.
Great informative video - please keep them coming.
Nice video! Just curious as to how easy/difficult are the arborist throw lines to keep from getting stuck and having to break/cut the line to try to save them. Is there something in their design that makes them better/easier to not get snagged??
I would like to mod the kh1 by putting a low pass filter on that side tone because I literally have blood coming out of my ears.
So, KH1 or KX1? I'm not going to dive into the KH1 yet, and will keep peddling my KX1. That side tone on the KH1 is messing with my ears - how adjustable is it? Thanks for the content!
It’s is, or soon will be adjustable. Both excellent. KH1 is much more feature rich though.
Couldn't you put a ferrite on the cord from the DJI to the splitter to cancel out any RFI?
Great though...you sure could, and I tied with no success. The reason for that is the RFI is coming out of the transmitter box, not traveling on the audio cable.
What case are you using for the KX2? Thanks!
That is the Lowepro Hardside CS60. I highly recommend.
