Yeah... I'm having Johna Hiem as my wild card. He may not be as broken as chipper, but I cannot play without a diamond catcher. I may rake more with Chapman, but I feel some sort of relief seeing a diamond behind the dish.
Do you think Set 1 packs will find their way into programs in Season 3, especially the AS and HR derby cards? I still have 28 cards left to collect to get the final Set 1 collection pack and I'd like to at least try out Pedro this year. Obviously, I'm glad I got Chipper and Babe and if I never get Pedro, that's fine. But it stinks that so many low overall cards are so overpriced still for Set 1. They give out so many cards by packs that those packs need to be more omnipresent in all the offline grinding programs. Like the TA3 programs should be filled with packs of Set 1 cards (like AS and HRD and WBC and the 2 preorder packs and so on) so those cards drop to reasonable prices. They also should lower the price of the Diamond Duos packs if they are going to continue giving away better cards there than in RS and BR (Schwarber is better than anything in the last 2 iterations of BR and this recent run of RS).
Theyve never said how pitching stamina works in the wildcard spot. Do you have to rest and use your wc slot for 4 gms every time you use a starter. That would suck
I don’t hate the set system tbh, if each season has a good amount of grindable (not locked behind packs) 97’s and 99’s then I think the set system keeps things refreshing instead of seeing the same cards everytime
Imo this style of content is way better, something fresh for the community after years of the same content release style with just different names. If they keep building on this and improving program rewards the game is in a good place for the future of this cycle, and future games to come
My homie had a pretty good idea for set collections. IMO Set collections are the worst part about seasons because u can only use the set collection card for like a month or 2. His idea was to allow 1 out of 3 set collection cards to turn into a core. Would make set collections way more reasonable Personally I kinda like the new seasonal but it needs improvement
I can't fucking seem to figure out how to add the all star players, every god damn one i try putting one in it makes me activate it as my wild card, why... I want to put all on my squad and just do conquest it's fucking bullshit, it only allows me to use one.... man it's the weirdest thing i think my team is bugged idk... Well I did the generate best squad and it put them all on... I literally don't understand why it made me activate every card as a wildcard
This is my first year playing the show so I can’t really compare to the old system, but I’ve played fifa ultimate team for a while and the first few months of the game are stale af just using 87 overall gold cards.
