I'm making Easter breakfast tomorrow morning. I'm going to try to make these hash browns. Followed by bacon, sausage, eggs. My father-in-law is making his pancakes from scratch. We'll be eating good 😊

I cheat, I make up squirt bottle with a half a cup of canola oil and a stick of butter, melted, shake it up. This is really good for hash browns, fried eggs, fried mashed potato / salmon patties.

You should consider using coconut oil instead of canola oil it's healthier for the heart. Canola oil is one of the worst oils to use along with vegetable oil. 😊

Simply Potatoes is the perfect middle ground. Not frozen. I've made hashbrowns by scratch and it's not even the grating or peeling that's the worst part, it's getting the starch out and drying them effectively.

I all so pre-cook some onion green or white nicely chopped. Make up a salsberry stake with add pepper and salt to your minced meat and some of your shredded potato cook your meat patties on one side of the oiled and buttered pan and the hash Browns on the other side mix some gravy mix in a saucepan when the meat patties and hash browns are done set them to one side and fry a couple of eggs in the preheated pan. When the eggs are done place the hash browns on a plate with the patties and top with the eggs and sauce
