Tax Day-- Pear Blossoms and Potato Planting!

Hope your taxes were finished early--or at least on time! Unseasonably warm weather so we planted potatoes today; Stan is trying something different: instead of planting all 3 varieties together, he is separating them. Should be easier to put straw around and to water them.
My grandpa used to say to plant potatoes on St. Patrick's Day...or else Good Friday. So I guess it's not too early on April 15th!
