Garden planting day! May 2, 2024

Good morning on a lovely May morning in Indiana!
Video starring Patches, the bunny snatcher (bunnies are terrible garden pests--they don't bother my lettuce but they'll eat off tender new tomato plants to the ground!)
We planted a row of Jade beans and 4 rows of Serendipity sweet corn earlier in the week, but this was the big garden day! Not windy, either, which was much appreciated! I guess I should count how many tomato and pepper plants--another day, perhaps. Just one small empty spot left for lima beans. Something new this year was leaving a path between the pepper, tomato, and potato rows--instead of roto-tilling the whole garden. We'll see how that works this year. The straw bales around the house last winter for insulation have been put to good use around the plants! Take a look.
