  • Well, this now begins my 6th year of garden videos! Today's video is longer than usual because there is more to show you. I was quite surprised when Stan brought in a bowl of about 7 small red potatoes (not tiny, but not quite medium). He has been busy thinning peaches this past week--thinned 8 buckets (5 gallon buckets, that is). He has also been working with the tomatoes, trying to keep the leaves inside the cages. He'll soon have to get twine to keep them from spreading everywhere.
Take a look at the loaded little Carmine tart cherry tree--almost time to make and freeze cherry pie filling again (better than any you can buy from a can, oh yeah)
p.s. Paul--you told me you'd go home and look at my newest video. Well, here it is! Congrats, grad!

That milkweed looks beautiful. Stan's garden is so healthy looking.

Everything looks healthy! We've had a TON of rain. Tomatoes and peppers are doing ok, but my flowers are in 'wait n see' mode🥺

Well, if it were later in the season, those tomatoes would need to be sprayed with calcium with that much rain! They should grow like crazy with today's heat!
Which flowers are water-logged? Pansies? Petunias?
