- Crockett--this one's for you! ...since you told me I hadn't posted for awhile. :)
Also, I highly recommend a TH-cam channel by a former student of mine--check out "Plum Branch Home" and Molly's podcast "Making it a home" on Spotify.
The peppers are the only gorgeous, productive thing to brag about in the garden this time of the year--but they are lovely, for sure! (The large red peppers are actually King Arthur, not Goliath as I stated) Also, check out the purslane taste test. You know, in Chinese folklore, purslane is known as a "vegetable for long life." Since Stan doesn't spray the garden with any kind of herbicide, this purslane is safe to eat.
One culture's weed is another culture's vegetable!
my pepper keep flowering but still no fruit so ill have to just keep waiting thanks so much for sharing its only my second year gardening
That's a puzzler! Are your plants healthy? I looked it up--could be lack of pollinators, too much/too little sun, not the right fertilizer (too much nitrogen?) That is so disappointing to have flowers but not fruit! I hope you can figure out what happened--maybe ask a local nursery expert!
Oh--I just noticed that you are a new subscriber! Thank you so much!
@@heresmyindianagardenandkit5003 thanks so much for that tip ill check my soil level and see what's going on and go from there and yes I loved your video can't wait to see more
@@NYSSASHOMESTEAD I just saw that you have a channel yourself--I subscribed right away. Looks like you also make elderberry syrup. I still have enough to last a couple more years, Lord willing!
