Hi mate, yep I run the 10W-40 full synthetic in both sides, you can use different lubricants in each side depending on your requirements (ie specific gear box oil for the clutch side if you intend to ride it hard). I have heard some clutches don't like full synthetic but I've never had any issues using full or semi-synthetic, just be sure its motorcycle specific lubricant. I think the correct viscosities, fill level and changing the fluids at the correct intervals is often more important than oil brand or synthetic or not.
Do you use the same motor oil for the transmission side ??
