23:56 Ok, I'll admit that it's lackluster as a remaster, but if they really wanted to remove the mission structure, they might as well make a new game. The entire game is built around this structure. They'd have to tell the story in an entirely different way, create a way to prevent backtracking and completely change the way of deciding when the player is allowed to go to a certain room or not and they'd have to change the conditions for triggering basically any event in the game. Also, the content of some missions would have to be removed entirely because they won't fit into a non-mission structure. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Finally someone said this. I keep seeing people expect the remaster to get rid of the mission based structure, but they forget that the game is built around it. It would have to be an entirely different game had they decided to remove it, and I frankly think the game is fine (and arguably better) the way it is.
