Paul, Another great cooking video with super location. Like your excellent and calm instructions. Just purchased a Trangia triangle as a result of your videos. Keep them coming.
Love watching these woodland kitchen films Paul.I'm probably the same as Peter,i find it relaxing to watch others cook :-) You couldn't have picked a better autumnal day to be out. Atb mate.Andy.
Well..we didn't make the "curry in a hurry" in the woods like you, but the kitchen worked well. My wife, kids and I all agree with Peter. Really good stuff. Will try it next time in the woods. Amazing Paul! Thanks.
I just love the curry you make and any way Mr Bisseker whom needs a portion of rice to go with it when you can make your own bread with added garlic also cumin seeds that's a good idea for me to start and use your knowledge 😉👍
Hi Paul I was watching Wiltshireman in his dutch army bivvi , he was watching you on his tablet so came to have a look , so glad I did . Subbed and rung the bell very nice vid mate keep up the good work will settle down to catch up on some more of your vids.
Thanks Tony, i appreciate your support ;) Sandy is a real gent, i am hoping to do a woodland kitchen with him if he has the time. I hope you enjoy my channel ;)
#RiceFail :-( still, that chicken curry looked amazing Paul, could smell it from here, fantastic surroundings too. Thanks for cooking mate... see ya @ my house 1pm 25th December... Oh bring your apron and cooks gear :-) Lee
Hi Paul absolutely love your cooking videos as they are practical Any chance you can put the ingredients in the description please Keep up the good work
Another great video Paul. Inspirational mate thank you. I know you always do big pot cooking for you and Peter but have you ever tried just preparing a single small meal in let's say a Crusader pot or a 10cm Zebra billy? You could always do 2 (one for your brother). I go fishing a lot and sometimes just take either my Crusader cooking system or my Pathfinder cook set which as you know have small cook pots. It would be nice to cook something from scratch using proper ingredients like you do but in a small pot. I like you love the Trangia triangle but mainly use little pots. Once again love the cooking vids and all your other stuff (especially the kit reviews). Keep up the good work mate.
Paul, that was quality! Your video audio is very good, are you using a GoPro and if so how are you getting such good sound quality? I hope you don't mind me asking for advise but you seem to have cracked it. Atvb, Michael
Yes i use a Gopro 5 Hero Black. The sound on the Gopro is awful so i bought a lav mic and connect it to my phone for audio. It works great cuts out 99% wind noise and picks up voice great. I use a Rode Smart Lav+ www.gear4music.com/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/Rode-SmartLavand-Lavalier-Microphone-for-Smartphones/12YM?origin=product-ads&campaign=PLA+Shop+-+GENERIC&adgroup=GENERIC&medium=vertical_search&network=google&merchant_id=1279443&product_id=50494d1&product_country=GB&product_partition_id=118264164319&gclid=CjwKCAjw0oveBRAmEiwAzf6_rIGcmo-EU5FGTV0D348aup7_xGoEdAG9iVo0SShEinucX4IaEvbIbhoCo6kQAvD_BwE I hope it helps ;)
Just a thought Paul. I was wondering if the fingers of a old pair of rubber gloves placed over the feet of the gas burner would stop it sliding around?
Was this a genuine video or a blooper/fun one? Things going wrong, burning the bottom, windscreen kept falling over and arguing with sibling etc it was comical to watch. 😁😁 Apart from that, beautiful location, definitely would like to see a few more filmed there. And the curry looked excellent and very easy to do.👍👍
This is a typical cook out for us ;) I don't like to cut out the incidents we have i feel it needs to be there because this how it really is when you are battling the elements and your brother ;)
@@PaulBissekerBushcraft It was a real fun video to watch. I love your cooking videos because they give the inspiration not to eat MREs and the usual crap from tins and packets.
Thanks, this is what i am trying to show. Meals can be made easily without having to just heat up tinned food. I am just showing an alternative there will always be a place for tinned food, especially for the convenience.
Love watching you struggle... you're not as funny as me... well, ok, you are. Your jokes are fresher. Never used the 4.5 l billy, but wondering if that's the reason you didn't use the Trangia windscreen set. Seems like that would have been less of a struggle on such a windy day. Does the big pot not balance well on top of that set? Thanks for doing this so regular like. I do enjoy them. atb from the Oregon coast
I am trying to use different cookers each week. I agree the trangia system would be better in the wind, the 4.5 billy sits above the windshield so would need an extra shield. The stability of the gas cooker is ok when it's not on a metal slippy table LOL.

Made my mouth water ,well done thanks for sharing !
“Curry in a hurry”. Gotta put that in the Book of Paul’s famous one liners. Looks great as always. Thanks for another great vid!
It would have been a bit quicker if i had a bit more heat hitting the pan and not blowing away ;)

I just love the curry you make and any way Mr Bisseker whom needs a portion of rice to go with it when you can make your own bread with added garlic also cumin seeds that's a good idea for me to start and use your knowledge 😉👍
After midnight and that made me crave a curry! Great stuff :)
LOL Thanks Simon ;)
Yummy as always Paul 👍👍
Great video paul , a nice little meal there.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. ;o)

Yeah it probably would help or i could wrap elastic bands around them. Good idea Steve ;)

i would of done the same for that tree it would of had a pretty difficult life otherwise nice one
It will be happy now ;)
Chips would've gone well with that....could've sent Peter off to the chippy while you were cooking ;)
Yeah, as a punishment for moaning about the rice. 😂😂😂
Yeah, he wouldn't come back.
Bwahahaha!
