Shit test true experience. Some years ago I dated a girl for about a month and all seemed great. We used to go out two to three times a week and I used to pay the bill all the time. It didn't bother me at all and it was something I did without thinking. One night she said: " Let me take care of the bill this time ok?" I agreed without giving it any thought cause we were both financially ok and it was a good change seeing a girl who is ok with contributing in the expenses. Next day she called me saying it would be best for us to stop dating. The reason was that she was the testing me the night before by asking to pay for the drinks herself. She didn't feel comfortable with me letting her pay the bill and the proper thing to do would be to object to the idea and pay the bill cause that's the proper thing men do. I said thank god it only took her one month to show her true self and got on with my life.
but also could be that she was looking for other guy. in her mind she wanted to pay something to you that would make her way out easy. she was having other prospects. be aware always. here a have an acquaintance and he is married. he earns more money than i do. but his wife was being too nice to me wanting probable something with me... take care of yourself.

We are trained by society to think men need to be tough and not feel. Draw that line in the sand, it may not change her course, but it sets YOUR standards clearly. I've notice these "tests" have escalated to outright abuse and complete lack of respect. Apparently I fail these tests cause immediately I show them the door.
Then it is no longer about gauging the relationship, it's about domination and control. My last GF used the same things to try and break me/control me. I found out after it's narcissism...in her case, it was more accurately self absorbed narcissism. (where whatever is going on in HER life no matter how trivial is 10000x more important than me or what was going on in my life).
I had one girlfriend ask me, “What would you do if I cheated on you?” I told her I would leave her. And I asked if she had cheated. She said it was only a test. Later I found out she was cheating. So when a woman tests with the question like this one, she has already cheated or is seriously considering it. If it happens to you, gentlemen, RUN! I wish I had.
I've also noticed when a girl asks if I'm cheating on her, she's actually the one who is. Had that shit twice now. It's like a get out card for them when you find out they're cheating so they can just say ''Oh well I was because I thought you were''.

Funny story: I was once cooking in my house together with a girl I dated at the time. We got into a heavy argument about something silly, in which she did the classical "I don't wanna be here anymore." To which I replied "Ok. Then I'll find something else to do tonight." And she doubled down, puffed, and huffed and waited for me to apologise, which never happened. A female friend of mine was having a birthday party that night, she invited and since I was now free that night, I accepted via text right in front of my then gf. "I can't believe you're doing this!" She exclaimed. "You did this. This is what you wanted. Now you need to leave, because I'm going out and you can't stay without me being here." I replied. So she begrudgingly called an uber, crying like I did something horrible to her, and so did I and I went to have fun elsewhere. This all happened in the span of 20 minutes and she was in a constant state of shock and disbelief the whole time, this was clearly not the way it was supposed to go according to her. I had a great night and she learned to not shittest me, ever. I like to think the lesson left such a burn in her brain, she never shittested me again for the remainder of the relationship. Bonus story: When we broke up she asked me to return her a board game she bought for us. When I did, at first she was confused as to why I brought the game back to her. "Why do you look puzzled? You asked me to return it to you!", I asked. "Yes. I thought you wouldn't bring it with you because you were going to ask me to stay together..." (Women are amazing) "No. Here is your game, just like you asked. Goodbye."

Once. She insisted that we take "her car" and then insisted I drive. I was scooting along the freeway at 55 and she said that I was driving "her car" too fast and was going to damage it. I was such an ‘old school’ fool during my 23 year marriage trying to make her happy at almost any expense to myself. Been divorced for 11 months now and each day that passes makes me more grateful that it’s over (even though I’m financially ruined). Being late always, as a reminder that her time is more important than yours. Once, I was dating this girl, many years ago. Cell phones weren´t all around yet. She was always late to our dates, sometimes like 30 minutes. But one day, I came to her house, call her through the intercom, and she told me "ok, give 5 minutes". So she did it again and I broke up with her. Days after she tried to come back and apologize, but I moved on. Dude, what really infuriates me, actually is not the bad behavior in itself; it´s the fact that they don´t realize that is wrong, because they didn´t hear the word "no" in their entire lives. I was the same blue-pilled idiot. When my wife and I were dating before we got married, we got into some petty argument about something very trivial. We weren’t even ready fighting nor were any harsh words said, but she decided to escalate it by pouring dish detergent all over my head (she had been holding the bottle in her hand). I broke up with her the next day, but she begged me for weeks to take her back and she eventually did. I was too young and stupid to realize what a HUGE red flag that was. She’s never done that again, but many things I consider to be actually worse, and a lot of it was shit testing.

My coworker is in his fifties, his most liked story was turning her test into such a "homerun it went around the planet and hit her in the back of the head" (doesn't translate well thus the analogy), she basically told him they forgot something when buying groceries and went out to fetch it, while using the car. It was low on gas before but now it was "low-low" /reserve. Well when he used the car to go out for an errand at the next morning, he filled the tank up just enough to get through and back home and put it back in the driveway like that. Of course she tried to shittalk to him about it, well he simply told her, she knew what she did and he got her right back for it, don't do this kind of shit, especially not if you remarked about how the tank was nearly empty when fetching something that was forgotten in first place. Another time she took 50 bucks from his wallet and didn't tell him, when he went to go and get something they needed, she "forgot", well guess who was standing in line at the supermarket the following week with a 50 bucks lighter purse? They are married and their children are now out of the house and very ocasionally, every once in a blue moon some minor things can happen, not must, or will but can, this tells the entire story of how women can and most likely will treat men.
A relationship where you're constantly being made to jump through hoops and you can't ever relax and be yourself is a living hell. Constantly pretending to be something you're not will make you utterly miserable. She doesn't love you, she loves your facade, and you can't sustain it forever.

One day at my house the conversation came up that I need a girlfriend and I said ; I have enough problems and I don’t need anymore. That ended that conversation real fast. At the time I was handling the closing of my parents estate and dealing with enough issues; didn’t need anymore. Still single and no plans on changing that status 👍👍😁😁

I went to be with my grandmother while she was dying. Suddenly, my gf was in crisis and really needed me. Watching my grandmother suffer and die was terrible. All my gf did was make it about her and how I wasn't there for her. She made that horrible situation much worse. That was enough for me and I ended the relationship. She was horrible aside from this but this time it was just too much. Like I wasn't going to stay with my grandmother b/c she was testing me... She was right. Here’s the shit test that broke me and which has never left me same since: One day we had some light snow and I was working from home. The snow was so light that it was going to melt in maybe 2 hours. Well my wife basically ordered me to shovel the driveway and I said I didn’t think it was necessary. She then threatened to do it herself. The problem with her doing it herself was that she had a very bad back problem at the time and was in constant pain, so she was essentially threatening to hurt herself if I didn’t do her bidding. I angrily gave in and shoveled the driveway. Big mistake in my part because it made me resentful. Some time later in marriage counseling I brought that up and the therapist said I should have just let her do it and suffer the consequences or it would have called her bluff. That my friends, is extreme manipulation and the perfect shit test if you ask me.
My wife of 38 years mows the lawn, paints the house and snow blows the driveway. I change the oil, winterize the machines and help set up the ladder. She is classy, sexy and hot. Her father and grandfather taught her to make/fix things. (I do help out a lot but she's usually the first to get going). ;)

Since this is relevant to joker's story, I thought I'd share some of my self criticism. I, like Joker, have done the same thing regarding walking away when the girl starts giving attitude and the silent treatment. But I notice I take it a little too harsh and tell them that "We're done, I don't need you, etc" but even tho it works for the girl to come chasing you and to establish a quick(but weak) patch... The moment you walk away, the relationship has essentially died. Because if you stay, it'll get toxic, you'll use the same strategy over and over. She'll already know that you'll threaten to leave again and so she'll be constantly thinking about life without you. So to reiterate, the moment you start walking away, regardless of who's fault it is; it's over. Even if it was not what you intended. It'll save you time and more grief. Take care
Exactly correct. A man's 'yes' must mean yes, and 'no' must mean no. If or when a man decides to 'walk away', it must be congruent/consistent...if not, the woman will correctly see this behaviour as a huge weakness, and will use this knowledge to her advantage. Ergo, men should not 'play games' by displaying inconsistency or by being incongruent.
If you’re walking away to have you’re partner chase you, then that’s just toxic. My days of chasing a man who doesn’t want to be with me anymore are over. The second you walk out the door it’s done. It’ll hurt, but it’s better than to be with someone who is trying to manipulate you.

Wife shit tested me right after I had a major surgery, was completely bed ridden. I couldn't believe it. It really is in their DNA, they cannot help themselves at all. I think 95% don't even or will ever realize that they are doing it. And in addition to that, looking back because I was in so much pain and incapacitated, she was genuinely happy the whole time. Once you learn how they actually think and behave you will actually have a hard time getting mad at what they do. Again they can't help themselves.

Back in January 2000 I was working with a guy who was married. I was single. It was the Monday after the Rams had beaten the Titans in one of the best Superbowls ever. So I'm gushing about how great the game was and he looks at me sheepishly and tells me he missed the game because his wife took him shopping. wtf. Who the hell goes shopping after 6 P.M. on a Sunday. Something like this happened to me with a girl I dated for about a year, I went to a family gathering of hers and met a lot of her close relatives I never met before. Out of the blue, for no apparent reason she starts a fight with me over I don't know what and gives me the silent treatment. Her family sees she this and takes the cue and they won't talk to me either. One of them takes her to another room to see what's going on, and I'm just standing there on one side of the room with everyone else standing on the other side of the room. Talk about a very uncomfortable situation. So I just left. She calls me still in a confrontational mood and asking where I am. I say outside and she knows I'm going to leave depending on what she says next. She thinks about it for a second and completely changes her tune. Asks me to come back and is totally nice to me the rest of the evening. The next morning this is really bothering me and I call her up and tell her so. She has no explanation for her behavior, no remorse, no apology. The message I got was I can and will turn on you at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all. If you want me then just deal with it. I broke up with her over the phone. I think she expected me to call her back but I never did. Six months later she calls me and rekindles things. She still never apologized and I didn't bring it up, but this time I kept a healthy distance from her. It ended again after a few months. Her behavior that night and the next day perplexed me for some time. I had never heard of s*** testing before but I guess that's what it was. I think women have this strange notion that they can behave badly and if the guy "really loves them" then they will not only let them get away with it, but bend over backwards to please them more. But in this case the s--- testing completely backfired on her because when she treated me like you would expect a girlfriend to treat you (which was like 95% of the time) we had an awesome time. I always planned fun and interesting dates, and those aren't my words, her friends always commented how she raves about the things I had planned for her. And the intimacy was off the charts. But you just can't disrespect someone with no explanation.

Funny because I had the realization recently that this is one of the main reasons I’ve stayed single for so long. I consider these tests to be jabs, and I don’t understand or care to try to understand how I’m supposed to feel warmth towards someone who puts me down and/or tries to mess with my head. Some time last year, I was attending one of the church gatherings that the singles ward I attend used to host, and I got into a disagreement with one of the young women over the validity of Donald Trump's presidency (I own a MAGA hat, she was your stereotypical woman talking politics). I ultimately shut that discussion down when I said, "Hey, did you like your tax return check this year and how you weren't forced under penalty of law to pay a fine for not buying Obomba's crappy health care? You're welcome." Fast forward a few weeks later, I'm sitting on the sidelines at another church gathering, being my usual introverted and antisocial self while the rest of the congregation endeavors in their preurile frivolities. The same woman walks up and stands nearby for a few moments, then drops what she was holding and asks if I could pick it up for her. Me, red pilled as hell that I am, answered; "You're a strong, independent woman; pick it up yourself." She looked at me, stunned, and before she could catch herself, responded in a tone of equal parts shock and impressed, "Good answer..." Her admiration didn't last though, as a few seconds later she must have realized how I saw right through her mask and then tried to give me some BS about having bad knees that hurt to bend to save face. I stood up, and with less patience said "Then that should teach you not to drop stuff," and walked off. My woman is abnormal, extremely so. Her tests (13 Years and counting) are so benign, it took some time for me to recognize them. We hang out a day a week or so. My ex went so far as to blame me and accuse ME of "being abusive" in her court filings. I loved her but that mattered very little. It can take time to slowly learn how toxic someone is. Funny story: I was once cooking in my house together with a girl I dated at the time. We got into a heavy argument about something silly, in which she did the classical "I don't wanna be here anymore." To which I replied "Ok. Then I'll find something else to do tonight." And she doubled down, puffed, and huffed and waited for me to apologise, which never happened.
A female friend of mine was having a birthday party that night, she invited and since I was now free that night, I accepted via text right in front of my then gf.
"I can't believe you're doing this!" She exclaimed. "You did this. This is what you wanted. Now you need to leave, because I'm going out and you can't stay without me being here." I replied.
So she begrudgingly called an uber, crying like I did something horrible to her, and so did I and I went to have fun elsewhere. This all happened in the span of 20 minutes and she was in a constant state of shock and disbelief the whole time, this was clearly not the way it was supposed to go according to her. I had a great night and she learned to not shittest me, ever.
I like to think the lesson left such a burn in her brain, she never shittested me again for the remainder of the relationship.
Bonus story: When we broke up she asked me to return her a board game she bought for us. When I did, at first she was confused as to why I brought the game back to her. "Why do you look puzzled? You asked me to return it to you!", I asked.
"Yes. I thought you wouldn't bring it with you because you were going to ask me to stay together..." (Women are amazing)

I, as the young blue pilled idiot I was, ended up apologizing. Yes folks, I did. But I knew I was right, and that incident was corroding me inside because I was outraged. So she did it again and I broke up with her. Days after she tried to come back and apologize, but I moved on.

Here’s the shit test that broke me and which has never
left me same since: One day we had some light snow and I was working from home. The snow was so light that it was going to melt in maybe 2 hours. Well my wife basically ordered me to shovel the driveway and I said I didn’t think it was necessary. She then threatened to do it herself. The problem with her doing it herself was that she had a very bad back problem at the time and was in constant pain, so she was essentially threatening to hurt herself if I didn’t do her bidding. I angrily gave in and shoveled the driveway. Big mistake in my part because it made me resentful. Some time later in marriage counseling I brought that up and the therapist said I should have just let her do it and suffer the consequences or it would have called her bluff. That my friends, is extreme manipulation and the perfect shit test if you ask me.

I, like Joker, have done the same thing regarding walking away when the girl starts giving attitude and the silent treatment. But I notice I take it a little too harsh and tell them that "We're done, I don't need you, etc" but even tho it works for the girl to come chasing you and to establish a quick(but weak) patch... The moment you walk away, the relationship has essentially died. Because if you stay, it'll get toxic, you'll use the same strategy over and over. She'll already know that you'll threaten to leave again and so she'll be constantly thinking about life without you. So to reiterate, the moment you start walking away, regardless of who's fault it is; it's over. Even if it was not what you intended. It'll save you time and more grief. Take care

When I was 15 years old I would put up with such things. Now I simply don’t. Easy as that. I don’t want to date immature women.
Something like this happened to me with a girl I dated for about a year, I went to a family gathering of hers and met a lot of her close relatives I never met before. Out of the blue, for no apparent reason she starts a fight with me over I don't know what and gives me the silent treatment. Her family sees she this and takes the cue and they won't talk to me either. One of them takes her to another room to see what's going on, and I'm just standing there on one side of the room with everyone else standing on the other side of the room. Talk about a very uncomfortable situation. So I just left. She calls me still in a confrontational mood and asking where I am. I say outside and she knows I'm going to leave depending on what she says next. She thinks about it for a second and completely changes her tune. Asks me to come back and is totally nice to me the rest of the evening.
The next morning this is really bothering me and I call her up and tell her so. She has no explanation for her behavior, no remorse, no apology. The message I got was I can and will turn on you at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all. If you want me then just deal with it. I broke up with her over the phone. I think she expected me to call her back but I never did. Six months later she calls me and rekindles things. She still never apologized and I didn't bring it up, but this time I kept a healthy distance from her. It ended again after a few months. Her behavior that night and the next day perplexed me for some time. I had never heard of s*** testing before but I guess that's what it was. I think women have this strange notion that they can behave badly and if the guy "really loves them" then they will not only let them get away with it, but bend over backwards to please them more.
But in this case the s--- testing completely backfired on her because when she treated me like you would expect a girlfriend to treat you (which was like 95% of the time) we had an awesome time. I always planned fun and interesting dates, and those aren't my words, her friends always commented how she raves about the things I had planned for her. And the intimacy was off the charts. But you just can't disrespect someone with no explanation.
How is this strategy going to secure a mate? It will make the guy think you're an asshole, especially if he is confident in himself. It sounds more like it is a test by a narcissist to see how much abuse you'll put up with.
Women who are willing to be sexual into you will test you. They dont even know they are doing this. Its them testing you if you are getting weak in the knees for her, which is a mega turn off. Cant blame a woman for being a woman.

I have a story to share. Some time last year, I was attending one of the church gatherings that the singles ward I attend used to host, and I got into a disagreement with one of the young women over the validity of Donald Trump's presidency (I own a MAGA hat, she was your stereotypical woman talking politics). Fast forward a few weeks later, I'm sitting on the sidelines at another church gathering, being my usual introverted and antisocial self while the rest of the congregation endeavors in their preurile frivolities. Me, red pilled as hell that I am, answered; "You're a strong, independent woman; pick it up yourself."
She looked at me, stunned, and before she could catch herself, responded in a tone of equal parts shock and impressed, "Good answer..."

Ah yes the S test. The last S test I was subjected to was 2 years ago with my last gf. While I'm on my soapbox, YT was playing a Ron Paul ad that mentioned YT censorship and certain words the ad presenter couldn't say or the ad would be pulled. Lo and behold, youtube auto skipped that ad for me WHILE I was watching it (screen went grey and loading circle happened).
YT didn't even bother replacing it with a different ad; it went straight back to my content. My eyes are open.
