People in general don't understand people. I think education and sheltered life experience plays a huge role in these types of shallow women and men's expectations. Nobody is perfect. I'm 45 now. I came to this realization when I was 25. Shortly after abandoning my unrealistic expectations, I met my husband.
What I've found is that men are so attention starved that if you give a man any amount of care or love that he will love you forever. Most men only want one thing: for someone to actually give a d*mn about them

Most single women had tons of non-negotiables and a few negotiables. That means they have too high expectations for a man.
I'm 6', relatively in shape, do alright for myself, decent social circle, life is good... On dating apps I rarely get likes. If I do get one it's always a hippopotamus. I just don't get it. Women nowadays are something else! I'm thinking of quitting dating apps. This is absolutely unreal.

SAME HERE! Psychologist here. A few years back I had a friend who could not get a date to save her life. If she did get a date, it was a one time deal. SO she asks for help. I look at her social media profiles and I couldn't believe it! Her profile of course says that shes a great person, but it was basically a long laundry list of "Must Haves". I simply asked her, "so you want all these things...what demands of HIS are you willing to meet?" ...crickets.. I had to tell her that if she wanted someone in the top 5% =, he did not get there by accident. AND IF this guy inherited his money, his family will be making matches for him...he will not be on social media begging for dates... as the clock ticked louder, she finally "settled" for a guy that was roughly her equal. This is true. A coworker that's attracted to me told me the other day that she wants a guys who is attractive, fit and will provide for her because she wants to be a stay at home mom. She is out of shape herself. I told her she is going to have a hard time finding a man with that attitude. I think I shattered her ego when she was just trying to tell me what type of man I need to be to date her. I know she is attracted to me because other coworkers have brought it up. You're lucky, I had a co-worker ask me out, I politely declined saying it would be a bad idea since we work together. The next day I was fired for sexual harassment. The lady I declined and 2 of her friends went to HR and told them stories about how I had been harassing them and they could not take it anymore. I had never spoken to either of her 2 friends.

I was insanely in love with a girl and knew it would be fantastic if she just gave it a chance. She was also attracted to me. She was about a 4 and I am better than average. I was really excited. All my life I’ve been like this, where I would wait and wait and wait, and knew exactly what I wanted when it came along. My Filipina is 1 year younger than me, she's 41, and both her parents are gone, and the only family she really has now is her sister, who lives in Canada now. So if I bring her here, she will actually be closer to her family than she is now. A lot of the problems you are talking about are ones that come from the younger girls. Mine is a business owner and has an education. She doesn't need a man's money. She can support herself just fine and is fine doing it. Has no kids and never been married before. Parents died at a young age so she spent her whole life just studying and working until she could afford to open her own shop. If you're after a girl who "needs" you, you won't find a girl who wants you.

I'm a coach, specialized in helping fathers re-connect with their daughters. I am a fatherless daughter and one of the biggest consequences of growing up fatherless, is that the image of a man and husband she builds up in her head, is made up by her, unconsciously. So it's a standard, she will most likely never find, cause it's based on "non-reality". So guess what, the more fatherless daughters you meet, the more untealistic expectations U see...fathers are needed in families.

And yes, there is many coaches out there (many bad ones too), I'm specialized in father-daughter relationships so I talk to fathers who are separated or divorced every day. I'm 32, 6'2 athletic/muscular build, pretty decent looking, making 110k, and even I have a hard time keeping average-at-best women in a rural area where I'd EASILY be in the top 5% of men overall. Statistically, top 5% is great with women. Anecdotally, if she's over a 5, she's not interested unless she's got kids

We forget sometimes that our bodies started dying the day we reached adulthood. Once in adulthood, parts of our bodies begin to fall apart like an abandoned house until there's nothing left to admire. At each "floor" in our lives (2nd floor = in the 20s, 3rd floor = in the 30s, etc) we should start lowering our non-essential standards such as looks, weight, etc. while only retaining the more essential standards such as love, respect, etc.
Like he said in this video, he only picked one physical attribute that he liked & one personality attribute that he liked, it makes sense.
