Corellon!! Have been waiting for this episode. Ironically just watched the Mordin episode last night.
The elven magic that isn't in the books can only be cast be a group of elves together (circle). BTW, that means all of them are helpless when they are in the circle and if they start casting 10th or 11th level spells it can kill the center (the most powerful one) or even the whole circle [remembering from Evermeet] - especially if they are under stress (i.e. combat). So it isn't something to done lightly.

If I remember right, the big drawback to Elven High magic is that it usually requires the voluntary sacrifice of multiple archmagi. The elves are supposedly like "Meh, I'll get reincarnated" but their deaths are what break the 9th level cap.

Well he isn’t… he did provoke Gruumsh into the fight that resulted in the creation of the elves and the orcs (corellon’s blood spawned the elves, while gruumsh the orcs), he is known to sleep around (like zeus) and that was part of the reason why lolth betrayed him (that and her own lust for power), and despite the fact that he has a good relationship with non elven deities (such as Moradin leader of the dwarven pantheon) he tends to not interfere or try to correct his children (the elves) when they start wars against the other races on petty reasons or when they develop negative preconceptions of other races, even if said race has done nothing to them, or when its only a small portion of the race that has wronged them (the only exception to this being the case of the eldreth veluuthra which were completely shunned by Corellon and the Seldarine since they do not sanction their actions and refuse giving them divine power, hence why they (eldreth veluuthra) lack clerics and paladins on their ranks).

Elven mythals are a good example of the "of the charts" magic they can perform
In second and third edition there were 10th level spells and higher. 2nd called them true doweamers in the high levels options handbook. And third called them epic spells in the epic level handbook.

The "Mythals" that are basically magical shields all with different properties that serve as defensive barriers to alot of elven settlements in FR.....they are made by multipul elven archmages using elven high magic

Seeking DM advice. I have a player character in my game that is a Dragonborn cleric of Corellon. How would Corellon justify granting power to this Dragonborn and how might they be accepted by other Elves?

Ahh... but unlike Corellon, Moradin can't be hurt by ANY forged weapon. Sahadrin the sword of Corellon wouldn't be able to cut a strand of hair from moradin.

Yes,10th level magic was a thing, but Mystra stoped that because the spell plague. Which happend because this guys tried to cast a 13th level spell. So there we 11th and 12 level spells
not quite my dude, it was the fall of Netheril/Karsus's Folly when Karsus (an arch mage of Netheril) cast the 12th lv spell Karsus's avatar and basically ended up accidently killing Mystryl by trying to steal her godhood and nearly destroying the weave. The spell plague happened when the the 3rd Mystra was assassinated by the mad god Cyric and the weave went haywire.

@@ikoma3863 nope its an Arcanist 12th level spell, but it is the only 12th level spell ever cast I'm pretty sure, so that's correct just the number is off

I think if Correllon is so beautiful , and stuff you could have females play him as this works with characters that have an unearthly type of beauty , having such a strange body that they appear neither totally male or female like an actress that plays Peter Pan.

I don't know if it is his actually eye but in the novel The Sentinel: The Sundering, Book V, the party haves to bring the eye of Gruumsh to a place to a temple. now the item itself is a very powerful dark artifact that only evil characters can take it. Now, if it is his actually eye or not i can't tell. still, it is a great Video you guys make as usual :D
