Here it is! The 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 100 Factory review. This is a really important bike for Aprilia and I am really fortunate to be able to test this early! It is very possibly the best bike I have ever ridden. Let me know what you think and I hope you like it!

Thanks for this great review. I just test rode one today, looks even better in the flesh; to me, one of the best looking bikes ever; as you said on the video, super smooth fuelling, chasis provides confidence, dashboard also much improved, however, I wasn't expecting to say a big BUT; that this this bike is so smooth and easy to ride, I wonder if the Euro5 compliance has driven out some of the character ? Giving the keys back didn't seem the ordeal I thought it would be and getting back on my 2019 V4 Touno, with the roar and bark of the Akra, the slightly glitchey 1st and 2nd gear and the agression and drama of the engine pull... all still on the older 2019 model, still seemed to bring an equally childlike pure joy; so I have to ask myself; is the 2021 V4 Tuono, as incredible as it is, really worth the extra full price, worth it to trade in the current God of Thunder ?

Keep up the quality work. Oh and for those in the threads not wanting the electronic suspension versions. Big mistake. The Ohlins 2.0 is just fantastic over the manual version. I have had both. A cheeky giggle when you're having fun on a bike says way more than words could ever do. I'm fairly local to Sheffield so know most of the roads you ride on. Hi Mostly Motorbikes, I like your reviews. I am on a CBR650F now, planning to upgrade to a 1000cc. I can only have 1 bike for all, for my weekend, road, twisties and track. Decided an Aprilia V4, should I get the Tuono or RSV4? Are both difficult to ride? How does RSV4 low end torque compared to Tuono? Thanks

They are both awesome. Tuono “feels” slightly faster lower down on the road due to shorter gearing than the RSV4 but on track the RSV4 would be a far better option. Ride them both and buy what makes you smile 😊

Great review. This thing just looks beautiful now. Lovely paint scheme as well although Aprilia should offer at least 2 colour schemes on it. It seems like they have done what was needed to keep it at the top of the hyper naked class. One thing I will say is the Tuono makes more low and mid range torque than the Streetfighter V4 which should make it a better road bike. It will be interesting to see how this bike compares to the all new Triumph 1200 Speed Triple. That bike could be the Tuono's biggest rival looking at the spec. Take care mate and ride safe.

David. Thanks for this. Couple of interesting points on this. There are a few nice upgrades here vs the 20. I’ve got a 20 factory. It cost 14k with akra from Via moto. You are right, they are great and Gary is spot on.
I agree the smoother fuelling and larger fuel opening would be welcome, but to be fair not a biggie. Fuel gauge, again, handy but not a huge issue at all as you just use your trip.
Looks wise. Subjective. But from the pictures and videos I’ve seen, I disagree hugely on looks. LEDs are welcome, but 18 quid gets a conversion on the older version, albeit not as designed looks wise but changes the look dramatically. I think it looks generic and cheap. But, again, in the flesh is key. The 20 model looks awful in photos but stunning in the flesh. To say the 20 is ugly, I think is entirely wrong to be honest. So many folk stare at mine when it’s parked up and comment on it.
The seating potion is disappointing as the more super bike stance than others was the reason I, and many, went for it. A unique aspect of the bike that stood it apart from the competition, and I love it. Certainly for a single bike ownership. So, again, I disagree with you on that but of course personal preference.
And the crunch ........£18,199 for 21 vs £13,99 for the 20 currently, and no akra? So 5k difference.
I’m curious now to ride this to see for myself. So what I’ll do is a back to back video comparison. You do seem to love this bike....I do need to be honest, I was really surprised at how negative you were in your MY20 review. It was the opposite to almost every other reviews on it. So I wonder if there is a personal bias in your review....of the 21 model?
But, yes some nice newer touches for sure on the 21 that would be nice to have. But, I’m not buying one.....well, not yet..lol.
Now, watch me do a side by side comparison and then part x mine in for the 21...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Mate it’s all relative and that’s why I always say, don’t listen to me go and ride it and look at it yourself. What I want from a super naked, already owning a ‘20 RSV4 track bike and ‘21 Panigale will be different to someone maybe how just wants one bike to do it all. I get that. Give it a whirl. Had a 16 and 17 TV4, and will hopefully get a 21 or 22, but at no point in time did I ever miss having a fuel gauge. I currently have two bikes that have fuel gauges, and numerous others that have had as well. Every single one of them was inaccurate because of the shape of the tank and the position of the float. 85 miles into your fuel tank and it's still showing you have a full tank, five miles later it's now showing you have half a tank. So unless this thing is as accurate as a fuel gauge on a car I don't see what all the hubbub is about. Especially considering that it has a low fuel light. All you really need to know is how many miles you have left once the light comes on, after having reset your trip meter at every fill-up.
