I bought this a few years ago and have primed thousands of cartridges with it. It is a superbly made tool and performs flawlessly. It’s a beautiful, well made precision that is a joy to use!
Certainly a beautiful and well made tool. Excellent adjustment function. The only drawback is the manual handling of the primers which is very time-consuming and perhaps not the thing for handgun cartridge reloaders. For rifles where the round consumption is not into the same figures, this is certainly the thing and well worth its price, especially as it is a once-in-a-lifetime tool.
The quality of tools I have purchased from 21st Century is top notch. The design, ergonomics, and precision of the manufacture of these tools is without peer.
I had the same question I was always told handling primers can impart finger oils to the primer possibly causing ignition failures, so is this really practical and is there a tray adapter of some sort. I'm looking for a new priming tool but may have to pass on this one though i like the simplicity and quality.
Just having to handle the primer manually instead of have a primer tube or other primer holding mechanism, is a not go for me. Will wait for the upgraded version.
I have been reloading for almost 20 years I always handle my primers but I wash my hands with rubbing alcohol and dry the with clean paper towels and out of the 20 years only 2 miss fires

I love this priming tool. The depth adjustment design is fantastic,

I love this thing - it's built like a swiss watch and is actually a pleasure to use every time
He has a tray option so you need not touch any primers. You can use either the round or square Lee tray. Sweet.
I love mine. Extremely well made and worth every dollar.

Looks good. I am looking at Sinclair's tool brownells sells and this one. The two look to be what I need.
See a post fro,m, a year ago saying it accepts trays, having had problems with trays before how well does this work
What do you mean by "aerospace tolerances"?

can't get better than that
