I spent a couple of weeks in Amsterdam a few years ago. After wandering around looking for a good place to eat, I found a small Turkish food shop that served Doner and Lahmacun. I ate there every day. Twice if I could manage it. I miss that place most of all from my visit. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will finally have lahmacun again!
And she says as in restaurants 😂 Watch this Efsane Antep Lahmacunu Nasıl Yapılır? I Evde Lahmacun I Legendary The Gaziantep Lahmacun TAHİR TEKİN ÖZTAN on TH-cam, you would understand what I'm trying to point out. TAHİR TEKİN ÖZTAN is a chef from where Lahmacun comes from in Turkey. For Adana Kebap is the same. People on TH-cam who are not chefs just butcher Adana Kebab; they put all sorts of things in it, spices...Shape like Adana Kebap but taste not Adana Kebap. There are people who doesn't have any clue about cooking trying these recipes and wonder why their recipe didn't work out. They think they couldn't make it. No. The recipe given is wrong. It's totally something else
I am from the Netherlands but live in Spain. In the Netherlands you have very good Turkish bakeries and Kebab shops too, mainly in the cities. We like to eat the Lahmacun rolled up filled with salad, tomato, onion, pepper and some spicy red sauce and a garlicky white sauce. Your recipes are spot on, well measured and I like to make Turkish dishes here in Spain. Thanks a lot. The Lahmacun dough and filling are ready for baking making a nice Saturday night dinner 🎉
I had many Turkish neighbours growing up in London and they introduced me to lahmacun. They used to cost just £1 around 15 years ago and we used to love buying and eating it at our local park. Thank for this recipe it brings back so many good memories!
I am from Turkey, I am in uni, I still made this but with tortillas! It is just as good:) I can make it without oven. I made a sauce: Mayo, hummus, cumin, turmeric, sumac, lemon, salt, panchpuran
Thank you so much - I finally had the chance to make your lahmacun recipe last night and they were the best I’ve ever eaten - even better than the restaurant versions. Your instructions were so clear and you described each step so well that it was easy to follow. We loved them! My daughter ate 4 of them herself, which was impressive. I couldn’t roll them paper thin but I still got 8 that were decent sized. I did end up cooking them in the oven instead of on the stovetop like you did, mainly because I don’t have a large enough pan. I cooked them on the bottom rack for 3 minutes and then on the top rack for an additional 2 minutes. I have a pizza stone on the top rack so I slid them off the baking sheet using the parchment paper. I was a little nervous using parchment paper in an oven that hot, but since it wasn’t in the oven long, nothing happened to it. Thank you so much for this recipe. Every single recipe from you has been super successful. I know you put a lot of time and effort into your channel, so I want you to know your subscribers really appreciate it.
Hello dear, I am glad you all enjoyed Lahmacun and you said it was better than the restaurant! Enjoy it! I am sure it must be crunchy and delicious in the oven too. Just so you know, you can also do it in big batches, freeze the rest, and reheat whenever you want.
making this tonight, ur recipie was so authenic and easy to follow! i used to live in turkey for awhile so I am excited to be brought back with my all time fav food in that culture! thank you!
Sister I love you. You are so fabulous at making recipe simple and easy for non Turkish ppl to enjoy and make. I wish my Turkish was as good as your English. Thank you xxx
My Turkish husband and I just made your lahmacun this afternoon and it came out pretty good, very close to our favorite frozen lahmacun brand we used to buy in NJ. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! We live far from good Turkish restaurants and it’s hard when craving food like lahmacun, so pulling this off makes us excited that we can make it when we crave it.
Very good explanation. I have bread flour to try this recipe. I think ground turkey meat will work with extra spices. Thank you Aysenur. Have a great afternoon🙏🤗💞🐲
Merhaba dear aysenur, fatma here. Hope u fine. Looks yummy lahmacun. Dear I watched your all recipes . But yet not tried once. Reason I am not well. Insha Allah after some time I will to cook your food items including today's special lahmacun. Really its mouth watering for me. So, keep going 👍 lot's of love and wishes to you dear. From fatma. Waiting for your next vlog.

Wow! I never heard of these until a few minutes ago when I was on a pizza dough blog where someone was asking about them and I became intrigued, because I love Middle Eastern food, especially Turkish food😋 Can you make them ahead of time and reheat them? If so, how? Maybe fold them in half and put them in the oven? I love your personality and your teaching style. I look forward to seeing more videos. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this lovely recipe, I will must try in this eid party, last year I made some of your recipes in my eid ul adha party "Turkish cousin" and everyone like and appreciate me. In Pakistan Turkish food very popular after seeing arturl drama 😊
Thank you so much for this great recipe. I made it a couple of weeks ago and loved it so much that I have meat and veggies resting in the fridge for dinner tonight. There are several ways to cook the Lahmacun, as you stated. I used a table top electric pizza oven/pan to cook the Lahmacun and it worked great. To use baking paper to transfer the Lahmacun was definitely a pro tip and made things so much easier. Thank you again for this wonderful video and recipe.

Hi Alex! But this is not Lahmacun. It looks like but not. It won't taste like the one you had in Amsterdam or in a Turkish shop.
