I find this temple to be harder than the infamous Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. Just got to this temple yesterday for the first time and man is it freaking beyond confusing and frustrating! GRR... Makes me wanna throw my controller across my room.
I gotta say that the makers of Majoras Mask did an amazing job. Each temple got a little more complex than the previous temple. Great Bay Temple and Stone Tower Temple were the trickiest for me but I eventually got through it. The music for each temple and the bosses were amazing. Although I always laughed when the first boss sang and danced to do a certain attack haha
Thank you, thank you, a million times over THANK YOU for not adding some sickeningly obnoxious commentary to this. I like being able to hear the music and sound effects.
This is a walkthrought. So of course there is no commentary-it usually is meant as a guide, not to be watch enterely. If it has commentary, then it's a letsplay, where the commentary is suppose to provide entertainement, even if that doesn't work for you. Ignorant people like you annoy me so much.
Love it/hate it... So awesome and so frustrating at the same time. I find this temple so much harder than OOT ... This game is so fucking underestimated.
I freaking HATE this temple, especially on a TV that's lost its brightness. And I dunno what happened between now and the last time I played, which was a couple years ago, but I got wrecked by the boss. had to use 2 fairies, still ended up getting a game over. went and got 5 and went through 4 before finally beating the bastard.
The Water Temple is "OoT" is still hard to this day (the true N64 version ... not the "watered down" {see what I did there} version on the new 3D version) ... but THIS one, the Great Bay Temple in "MM"?! This Temple is beyond ASININE!!! This temple is such a pain in the ass, I would go so far as to say its the hardest Temple in the entire Zelda series ... and I'm being serious when I say that.
It can actually be simpler and even more linear than you think. Trust me. It generally just boils down to 2 pathways per direction. Take the first 2. Along with all the water recyclers, ice arrows, and the big key. Take the center section where the water is flowing down, freeze it, there's a water recycler in there, you need that. Now flip directions. Take the other 2 pathways now. However, it generally is only 1, since the 2nd is just the room with the boss door.
@@mamagherbear7082 tell that to me when i was raging when i was playing it for the first time in this temple. ITS NOT AS SIMPLE WHEN UR BRAIN IS IMPATIENT 😭
@@liam_wasnt_found8957 No I felt the same way. But really trust me, it can be simplified, I ended up looking back and thinking "How did I get confused by this?"
Your movements are so robotic. Not a wasted button press. Love watching you own these dungeons 👏🏻 (I particularly liked the side hopping down the pipe and the backflips into the water, started doing this myself, playing on Switch right now.) Thanks! Liked and subbed!
Literally had to look back and forth and back and forth on this video and my switch at the same time. It was super stressful and I was hella raging on the boss. Thank god I got more upgrades from the fairies and I was able to beat the boss in time before the moon crashed a few hours later.
every time i replay majoras mask this is the temple that stops me in my tracks and i forget all about the game then later i realize i was playing it 2 months ago
Am I the only one who found the mini-boss (Wart) a lot harder than the end boss (Gyorg)? It's the only time in the dungeon I died on my first ever playthrough. Btw spin attack works best against the mini eyes.
Ah, the "theory" that makes no sense to anybody that has read the game's booklet and guide, in-game dialogue, understand Kubler-ross' work, remembers Sharp declares Link to be alive, remembers Link comes out of Termina in the ending, understands Termina is a literal and not figurative parallel world, and realizes Skull Kid has come in and out at least 3 times, and Link and HMS twice, knowa about the fact that Hero's Shade is NOT a Stalfos and that he is the spirit of a grown Link with scars made long after MM. Fan "theories" are garbage, especially that misinformed rambling.
Listen dude, although your comment is "informative",( really emphasize the quotations), I like the theory I talked about in my previous comment. What you said about fan theories being "garbage" is garbage. Some fan theories are probably dumb, but others like the "Link Is Dead In Majora's Mask" theory is not.
Merrisa Daq Yes, it is. It has no evidence to support its claims, and provides no extra depht. It is nothing but a dude forcing the stages of grief into a story. If you consider every rambling a theory, and like I said, that "theory" is not even a bad hypothesis, that is your problem.
Drn Montemayor Aww man I hate it when you press enter thinking it will send your comment but instead it just makes a space below what you are typing. Really grinds my gears.
***** Reading your comment, I can see that you're calling me one of those "idiots" that you mention. Well, I'm actually quite the opposite. But what I really want to say is that I have loved the Legend of Zelda series for a long time now. I love its attention to detail, its beautiful graphics. What I'm trying to say is that I'm no fool. I love Majora's Mask because it's dark and creepy and amazing. And because of MatPat's theory. And just because I like it and encouraging other Zelda fans to watch it, doesn't mean I'm idiotic. So don't ever compare me to some spamming Legend of Zelda amateurs.
The mini-boss (the one with the eye) reminds me of the boss of "The Great Deku Tree" In Ocarina of Time and the mini-boss for the water temple in "Twilight Princess"
this is my fav temple in the whole game i love the atomospher & my fav boss in the whole game is here i love Gyorg he looks awesome and he's fun to fight
why does everyone hate this temple it's the best one in the game in my opinion and if you just swam though it there would be no challenge jut like the water temple in oot

really i felt worst the fire temple in oot
Alice Krystall The Fire Temple is so easy compared to the Water Temple and Great Bay Temple. But that's just my opinion.
+Jonathan Chuck of course that's how each one reacts to each temple when they play it
Jonathan Chuck I'm just glad that I can skip it in the 3D version
Jonathan Chuck I know it's so easy

@@francisthompson3772 Umm, I guess you haven't ever heard of Zelda Dungeon?
Inform yourself before you claim somebody is ignorant.

Love it/hate it... So awesome and so frustrating at the same time. I find this temple so much harder than OOT ... This game is so fucking underestimated.
I agree after all its the sequel to one of the best Zelda games ever oot
a link to the past is that way too but I love the game in the series
Majora's Mask is by far my favorite 3D Zelda game, but this temple, man... this temple gives me nightmares every time.
Majora's mask really has the most tricky temples and is different from other zelda games.
You made the Gyorg boss fight so simple. I remember dying three times before I finally beat it.
my brother died 4 times before he finally beat him lol
my brother died four times eaten by GYORG lol
I personally found Gyorg the hardest boss in the game...I always make sure to have at least 10 heart containers before fighting him
This temple bored the fuck out of me, lot of frustration and seemed endless.
i love when you get to the Temple & Link waves at the turtle it's so funny& cute at the same time
A FIRE arrow against Wart? Now, why didn't I think of that? That was very cool!
yeah he's easy to beat that way
I wonder, were those leaf variants of Deku Babas inspired by The Thing? The way they transform as they land on the bottom of the pool.
I freaking HATE this temple, especially on a TV that's lost its brightness. WEHN I TELL YALL I WAS FIGHTING THE CLOCK ON THIS ONE
ONG!!!!
I ran out of time because I did all that gerudo egg stuff same cycle
Should have said and started at 1
One of the improvements over OOT, that the fire and ice arrows have importance.
Wtf man either this boss is a lot harder in the 3ds version or this guy was so good the platform in the middle never fell.
Thanks for this, even the fairies!...Screw this temple...
I don’t even try with the fairies in this temple anymore tbh…

Wart is my favorite mini boss in the whole game he reminds me of Viterous from a link to the past

THAT... was the most hassle-free way I've ever seen anyone take down Gyorg.
I think that if there's a thing zelda games have in common (at least some of them do) is the shared hatred people have for the water temples
0:27-0:37 I had no idea the using Deku Sticks was an option; I've always opted to use fire arrows.
27:33 - 28:04 absolute cinema.
20 goddam days for me to beat it
I think you can get the wall thingies that you can push go faster with the mask: The Goron that cannot be healed.
Literally had to look back and forth and back and forth on this video and my switch at the same time. It was super stressful and I was hella raging on the boss. Thank god I got more upgrades from the fairies and I was able to beat the boss in time before the moon crashed a few hours later.
That frog boss can go rot in hell.
I agree!!!!!! I get severe anxiety every time I reach him.
It's been two years for me since beat this temple on n64 version so thanks for the help I'm playing emulator this time
1:01 Was Stray Fairy #3 brought out by shooting that specific Skulltula?
yes
2:13 Where did that fairy come from? its not there for me.
I love the Temple theme of this Temple my favorite in the whole game
how the hell do you swim up and down so fluidly?
5:54 lol skipping lefts like that,show off😄
Love his movements. So robotic. Not a wasted button press!
You makes it look really easy. I'm so confused by this temple... Hate it!! I'll have to get my hands on it again :)
After reading the comments, I’m losing the courage to face this temple 😂😂😂. But I’m in too deep and I want to finish the game, so I have no choice 😭
Link look funny in the fairy mask&the frog mask who agrees?
every time i replay majoras mask this is the temple that stops me in my tracks and i forget all about the game then later i realize i was playing it 2 months ago
This has to be on an emulator, i can barely move with that much precision on a N64 controller
Absolutely. It’s even harder hand held on the switch. Shooting arrows is laughable.
The wart is just hard to look at like the holes on him or it😟
i'm discovering more and more ppl in the world that feel weird about a buncha holes
I love this Temple my favorite boss in the whole game Gyorg lives here
6 years later and still nobody agrees with you 😂
When and where did you get the frog mask? I've been playing watching every single video and somehow I missed that one
Am I the only one who found the mini-boss (Wart) a lot harder than the end boss (Gyorg)? It's the only time in the dungeon I died on my first ever playthrough. Btw spin attack works best against the mini eyes.
Will Davis In the mini-boss I just used the zora boomarangs to cut through the mini-eyes to the big eye. After that it's pretty strait-forward.
I love how The Bunny Hood makes Link run super fast
am I the only one who thinks Wart is a cool mini boss?
am I the only one who thinks the boss battle theme for this game is really cool?
You are really good at diving out as a zora into platforms......i would smash into walls a lot 😅
This is my favorite temple of all time
you make the eye ball part look so easy!
Reminder that Majora's mask was heavily rushed, but they still pulled it off somehow
This game is so awesome! It is the best Zelda game! You need to check out the link is dead in Majora's mask theory!

You don't swim sideways when you turn underwater in the remake and it makes me angry.
Herp Derpingson
what is your fav mask in the game? mine is the Zora Mask
Wart is my fav mini boss in the whole game he remind me of Queen GOHMA my fav Child Link boss in Ocarina of Time
This is my favorite Temple in the whole game favorite boss battle too Gyorg is cool
The mini-boss (the one with the eye) reminds me of the boss of "The Great Deku Tree" In Ocarina of Time and the mini-boss for the water temple in "Twilight Princess"
Damn, you are good at this! Awesome! Thanks!
you made look this like a piece of cake.
How the hell are you so good at swimming and what's that blue stuff you use while your swimming to kill things?
