Yes you are correct, the beginning part is actually the ending to the song "Bodom After Midnight." For some reason the video includes that part on the follow the reaper live song. Definitely the uploaders fault.
If you actually search for Bodom Beach terror from this concert they do a medley where they do half Bodom Beach terror and half Bodom after midnight. It's pretty awesome
always good to hear some CoB every now and again. Awesome song. i remember there was a power metal station i used to listen to that would play this song every now and again. for me this gives me the more early 80s european side of thrash vibes like kreator
Great review, FTP is my favorite CoB album by far, with Bodom After Midnight probably my favorite song (also the name Alexi used for his new band before he passed).

Years ago I was with my friend a guest on stage when they were playing. They put us to watch the gig in the car which was props on the stage. The car was packed with pyros and explosives, but at the inside in the car they had put a lot of beer on ice to us. Then during the gig the players of the band came to ask from us one by one "how do you feel?" :D
So glad I saw them one last time in 2017 before the disbanding and losing Alexi. rip Alexi
Same, I seen them at Long Beach in 2008 with in flames and megadeth.
Everytime I see them, I forget that Alexi is not here anymore. CoB and In Flames were my first metal bands I liked , would love to see some more reactions on both of them.
This particular song gives me those same vibes but to me, it feels like Overkill "Feel The Fire" or Kreator "Pleasure to Kill." Not so much Anthrax to me........
He and his band imo were the sole classic metal performers who stayed true around the time 1997-2003 when all others, i mean most of them, started New wave shit. #LinkinPark#LimpBizkit etc

I’ve always thought this band had a NYC vibe to it. I see it now you pointed it out with the Anthrax shout out. I see some Nuclear Assault/SOD vibe too. Good sound for sure!!

When I go to live shows I think that the music is as important as the show it self! If the band is fun and entertaining the show is that much better.
Some bands I didn't like that much on their studio albums made me a fan for life when I saw them play live!
The uploader might be crazy about that guitar solo... or just crazy... yeah, "egregious" might be the word.

I saw Bodom before Lamb of God, same show....Bodom killed the crowd, we were exhausted....
I saw that tour in Winnipeg. It was insane! As I Lay Dying was there and the crowd was screaming for Bodom to come on. As I Lay Dying and Lamb of God fans were brawling in the street before, during and after the show. Like i said, Insane!!

Also, I hope the bass was audible on your end, because it was barely audible. Having seen them live... Henkka (bass) was in beast mode and FOH let you know it.
"Booze Brothers" from this show is required viewing... and I don't recommend solo time lightly.
