you cannot get the difference while accelerating the car after fixing the BMC air filter. You have to drive much more and feel the difference...…..great changes and good performance.

I agree as per normal if you were to install this for performance purposes then at minimum a stage 1 tune would benefit both the filter and the car.
If you wanted a deeper engine noise then this filter works perfectly and sounds good on its on. Main benefit is that it's a closed filter and not an open one as where the air box sits is directly above the headers and halfway back in the engine bay and an open filter would suffer with heat soak.

The filter is high flowing. You will need to get the engine remapped for the filter to work better. Induction sound was better.
I did notice slightly better throttle response but it would all depend on what ypu want from the filter and if you have any other modifications.

Does this add any HP? If yes, how much. Is it worth the investment? Wish there was more mods available for benz

It did appear to make a difference over standard, slightly more responsive. This would benefit from a matched remap. It does make the intake sound alot better and more noticeable if that is something you wanted. Add a turbo muffler delet and the whole intake and turbo sound would be much better. Again personal preference.

That's very strange. It's just push studs. Be carefull tho as it may snap if you use to much force. I have not heard of this issue before. Be Interested to know what the issue is?

Hi I have a 2016 c200d coupe and wanted to know if I can get one for a diesel...I know its a diesel and may not hear any difference in sound jut I've been looking for ages and wondering if its possible to get it anywhere? Thanks and keep the videos coming

I don't know of any intakes for the diesel versions. At best you may get a panel filter. Like you say sound wise you proberly would not notice a difference in intake noise due to how diesels work it wouldn't be a seperate intake noise more a constant louder sound.
This intake fits 2015 to 2018 mercedes C,E and GLC models fitted with a 2.0 petrol turbo engine. Engine code m270.
Hope this helps? Are there any videos that I can do that would be of help?

Looking at the filter, if it's the door stop shaped filter then you could possibly put a universal cone filter in the air box. Just measure the inlet diameter and get the biggest filter that would fit. It's not my cup of tea but it's something you could try if you wished. This would increase sound.
