Incredible place, amazing how modern buildings have been incorporated with these polygonal walls. Fantastic aerial views, thanks for another great interesting video Hugh!

The tiny blocks aren't polygonal walls, and so the pavement. The first is a classic roman "opus reticulatum".
Cheers from Lombardy, Italy (we're living a very difficult moment here, now)

I hope when the plague will over to do more videos about the ancient sites of Italy.

Must be nice to stroll around a seemingly abandoned Italian town in middle of a plague - and have the history and ruins all to yourself. Haha

The 'shaped' polygonal wall reminded me of a crocodile ... but they don't have those in Italy? Maybe a dragon? Are you safe Hugh?

I think they maybe only on the very hard granite blocks like Basalt.

Try to visit Alatri, Arpino, Segni, Ferrentino, Segni, Verola, there you can find huge polygonal or cyclonic walls.

If it were Basalt or other hard granites it would look a lot cleaner and a tighter fitting than this.
