  • Hugh Newman explores the remarkable megalithic site of Norba in Lazio, Italy. Officially it dates back to around 500 BC, but it may be much older. It has polygonal masonry like that in Peru and a rounded entrance tower similar to the Nuraghe's of Sardinia and Chulpa Towers of South America. Norba was part of the 'Latin League' a series of tribes who stood up against the early Etruscan Romans.

Wow very interesting site Hugh. You're right, I think I can see instances of protrusions also, and maybe spots where nubs were broken off. I see several small filler stones at corners, like Peru, Easter Island, etc. Some square holes as well. At 7:16 you can see how some of the blocks have beveled edges, interesting to see polygonal and beveled blocks together, Catioren in Turkey is one of the only other sites I've seen which incorporate both in the same structure like this. Usually the surface is completely flat, or is the puffy style of block. I think instances like Catioren and here at Norba show that polygonal and bevel block constructions have the same origin. The nubs/protrusions tie it all together. "Nubbed architecture" is connected. Thanks as always.

@@groverclevelandloweiv6928 We've discussed that on my channel. I think some of the nubs are for esoteric/symbolic purposes. Star charts, sundials, calendars. Some nubs seem functional, like the lifting nubs on Egyptian sarcophagi, but I definitely think there is more to the nubs than merely lifting. It seems like an entire system that they were using. Nice comment, thanks!

@Wes Porter the nubs are really mysterious. Sometimes, like on the sarcophagus lids of Egypt, they definitely appear to be for lifting, but the nubs on walls aren't on all the blocks, sometimes bigger blocks dont have them and smaller blocks do. I really think the nubs were a whole system they used. Some of the nubs may be practical, but others may have more symbolic/esoteric purposes. I've had some of my subs propose that some nubs may be sundials or calendars. I really like that idea.

Thumbs up for the drone footage. It is amazing how many areas of construction that are finally being opened up to the world. I never recall doing anything in history classes, both Ancient and Modern, in regards to these massive wals, other than it was built by X,Y or Z and don't ask any questions you will regret so you don't be seen as rocking the boat.

The polygonal style isent that of an enigma if you think of it.
You dont need to waste the size of the rock by making it smaller to fit an Rectangle shape. Just need to cut away pieses to make em fit the puzzle.
And done correctly even make the wall very strong. It is a very logical way to build a wall.

Not only did the defenders have to fend off giant men but also the giant animals The Sleeping Prophet: Edgar Cayce mentioned that in 50,000 BC there was a world wide meeting on Atlantis to deal with the giant animal problem - the walls had to be resilient enough to withstand a brontosaurus strike - so these walls are very very very old

It's important to reveal all aspects of the site Hugh, isn't it. This architecture is in the Mycenaean style - the Greeks built like this. There is a museum there - this info is from it:
The Peuceti and Greek culture: Norba
(Archaeological section of the Civic Museum of Conversano)
Between the 5th and 3rd centuries. B.C. the populations of the Pauceti and the Greeks gathered, seen by the deep influence that the Greek culture of the classical Hellenistic ages had on the native culture of the Peucezia.
In this period Norba, “The Strong City”, the ancient city of Conversano, occupied the hill around which the inhabited area was organized, as a diffused population.
The museum offers rich documentation of these centuries, almost constituted exclusively by the funeral remains of the era.
The history is mostly seen by the remains of ceramics, offering a sample of form and decoration: rich depictions of figures in red of the “table set” to the more shiny black varnish of the ceramic pints of the Gnathia style; not overlooked, however, are the native ceramics of everyday use, formed, handled and decorated with bands.
Particularly important, are the series of objects in bronze and iron,: tripods, lances and javelins, belt fragments, etc.
As for the art of the goldsmith, finally, from the grave of a young girl of the 3rd century. B.C. a small ring is found.

Just the amount of earth that has built up at the base and around the round tower indicates how very ancient the construction is. Also the way the polygonal construction looks seems to speak to the antiquity. It’s not quite as refined as other polygonal construction around the world. Is it a precursor to other polygonal works or an attempt at mimicking the refined work of a previous era?

15:36 amazing drone video. Placing stones that size next to a cliff is insane. This place can't be a fortress. Maybe later cultures used them for that purpose. A bunch of guys with weapons climb a huge cliff and a some polygonal wall is going to stop them? That doesn't make sense.

    • @groverclevelandloweiv6928
      @groverclevelandloweiv6928 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@MegalithomaniaUK This is something that has been rolling around in my head the past few years. The shapes of each stone is the outlines of each constellations. Just a theory but take a star chart and outline the constellations. Then match the two shapes. I see this in all megalithic structures... Hope that helps. No secret code just constellations.

FWIW, according to Scripture, it was the sons (descendants) of Japheth, son of Noah, that settled Western Europe, including Italy. There was undoubtedly a lot of seismic activity during their colonization, thus the polygonal structures of the walls. They were great explorers and builders, perhaps using tech brought through the Flood on the Ark. I would also add regarding "giants" that we know from the fossil record laid down during the Flood that both flora and fauna were much larger than today, so we should expect pre-Flood man to have been taller and stronger (and smarter) as well. Noah was 500 when he was instructed to build the Ark, was 600 when the Flood came, and was 950 (!) when he passed. He was probably much taller and stronger and intelligent than today's man, as were his sons, but as time passed in the New World life spans began to shorten and men probably did not grow as tall since they did not live as long. Thus the giant skeletons were descendants of Noah, and we should not be surprised by their existence. As for Nephilim, they were merely very tall men, descendants of Noah as well, NOT hybrids of women and "fallen angels". Anakim were another, and the Scripture tells of Og of Bashan and Goliath, "giants" but still men.

It appears to me that the precision cuts of the megalithic stone may have been accomplished by Magnetism. Specifically using focused Dielectric fields to cut and shape the stones. If this is so then it explains the organic shaping and fitting we observe.
This might be the way it was done.
Stone #1 is set in place and stone two needs to be butted up to it with exact fitting.
Stone #2 is still in the rough and is placed close to stone 1 in which a scribe is used to trace, or follow, the contours of stone #1. The scribe has the Dielectric focusing mechanism on its opposite side which cuts stone #2 to the exact fit to stone #1.
Stone #3 is placed following the same technique as above. This whole process is continued for the entire structure.
The beveled edges of the stones appear to have been carved by a similar Dielectric focusing principle but this time the shape of the edge of the Dielectric cutting tool is constructed so that the field is small and is handheld. This is the simplest explanation I can come up with that explains the impressive fitting of the stones.
The more complex explanation is the Dielectric field device or mechanism. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Ancients knew the true nature of Magnetism and were able to exploit it. Nikolai Tesla undoubtably figured out how to use the Dielectric as a method of transferring electrostatic into a form of cutting tool. Due to the politics of the day of the combined giants such as Graham Bell, Marconi, Firestone and Wells Fargo, Tesla and his inventions were cast aside in favour of maintaining steady profit from the sale of electricity.
Tesla on the other hand was interested in inventing mechanisms based on Magnetism. He was a pure analytical scientist who figured out things by trial and error which gave him the knowledge of Magnetism from experience. It is because of this I believe he discovered how to direct the Dielectric fields into novel ways such as being used to cut and shape stone.
The scoop marks on the stones reinforce the idea that a Dielectric focusing tool may have been used.
    Food for thought

The high quality rock structures, megalithic precision, polygonal accuracy, 'knobs', and mathemathic design, are all shaped by the same highly developed People, from highly developed planets. The Sphinx and Great pyramid were shaped 86.000 years a go.
The Real People, is about 100.000 years a head of Our common developing level/standard,
they have since long a go, growing away from being born in physical bodies, like We do.
They have electric body-structures, to strong for earth-people to come close, they do absolutely every thing by thought-power, eventually performance bodies, to come here, in a moment.
So, they De-materialized the need'ed rock, projected the idea, and materialized the full finish structure, solely by thought-power.
The Real People present the Science of the Eternal Life, they know the eternal laws of the Stuff-side as well as the Life-side of Life. They leave no skeleton, and no tools.
So, it were not giants, skull-heads, or other physical beings, who created the 'Impossible' structures. Mathemathic is the language of Eternity.
