ka24de for life a fan from Saudi love your enthusiasm about ka24de engines I love them to and I think it is the bast sounding 4 cylinder engine ever made that engine has a soul of a fighter
Seems like ka is the way to go I’ve heard good stuff about sr20s but also really bad stuff. Plus it would be cheaper on the wallet and it would a lot more unique to have a ka24det than the usual sr20 build !
Ka is a tough engine, over 250k miles on stock seals and bearings but does burn some coolant. Also unless you plan to boost the ka, don't remove the secondary butterfly valves inside the intake manifold. Leave it all hooked up and working. Mine used to work and I used to be able to bark 3rd gear bone stock but when I removed them I lost a ton of low-end. My best 1/8 mile time was 9.44 on cheap Douglas tires before that ☺
Considering there are SR20 powered cars doing 6 second passes in the quarter mile and no ka powered cars doing the same Id say the SR20 has more power potential than the SR20. Cant say Ive seen any ka powered car winning at time attack at Tsukuba or World Time Attack. But there are cars that held lap record tht are SR20 powered. Can anyone deny what I said? Prove me wrong.
just put it back together & send it, meanwhile build another KA since it's cheap so when that blows up just swap motors and more seat time for you. ps : please do a diy on how to build a ka with some details
KA24's are plentiful and cheaper than dirt. I would like to boost one and put it in an Infiniti sedan for good gas mileage and power when needed. the 15.5 MPG in my girlfriends G37 coupe turned me away from getting the sedan, for now.... for now I have a 02 3.5 ^ speed Maxima.. bolt ons, ECU flash and H-LSD has done lots of good for the Max....
Literally been having KA-T vs SR20 debates myself just recently on the Nissan pages amd mentioned these flaws among others, KA fanboys just ignorantly don't want to hear it
@@fakedeep8678 if it came in your car go for it, its common in europe and Australia otherwise it's not worth it if you can get your hands on a SR or KA
never even seen a KA we only get Sr20det in oz, u wouldnt pick a KA here coz you'll never find parts, if ur talking stock & stock SR for sure but a built motor KA being bigger capacity & better head buts there both Nissan so its a win win, both is good depending how much coin u throw at it
Those shitty 8mm bolts on the SR20 that hold the rear main seal cover in place are absolute dogshit. Every SR block I have ever worked on has those p.o.s. stripped out that have to be retapped. Why you might ask? Machine thread steel bolts in an aluminum block. Any Iron block does not have this problem from the same era, RB's, 2Jz's, etc.
Im from Asia., In my country all S Chassis are ca18det sr20det S13/14/15 and mine is 8 ports ca18det., I never got a chance to test euro 4 ports ca18det let alone the truck motor. P/S - A stock ca18 sr20 can beat the hell of stock KA 🤪
I'd honestly would much rather play with a CA setup than even do anything with a KA besides daily it I don't like the way KA's sound nor SR's compared to the scream of RBs and JZs or even may I dare say V8s 🤔🤣
Sr's in America for some reason always blow but boosted KAs either blow or don't make much power never found a boosted KA that could beat my GT30r RB20 just full bolt ons apexi FC piggy back ecu system and walboro fuel pump and injectors made 430 ish depending on the weather at 26-28 psi
& everybody says KA for torque but I've never seen one actually beat a RB or really even a SR never seen a CA in the USA but I bet it would run circles around a "built" KA in its stock form just bigger turbo with more fuel and air flow than oem
Facts ka gang no Sr 😏🙌🏾🤌🏾

I just bought a 240sx zenki usdm with a inside, my question is, should i do a swap to SR20DET or just refresh all the engine to do KAT motor?

@@JustAlanIsCool what’s the hp for that
id actually love those engine hooks
I would love to see you build a ka to perfection so that one day I can do the same lmao. ❤️ those things are hard to find lately though haha
I think i will do a big power build at some point, and see how well I do. It’s crazy the prices of ka’s nowadays.
I just found a s14 clean shell with a ka inside clean one too and the tranny was still there for 4K

I mean….You’re doing one right now….
link for that super charger please

Ask Kev about the 618whp 588tq ka-t s14 I took him for a ride in when he stopped by the shop "holy shit this thing makes more tq than my rb"
He told me about it as soon as he got back from that trip.
Ka24 is almost as big as a 1jz and rb25/26
What turbo was it running?
KA-T for sure🤙🏽
Ask luke about my KA-T. Had the craziest manifold ever. Made almost 500whp but constant issues lol
What problems did you run into ? I wanted to build a ka but idk
just put it back together & send it, meanwhile build another KA since it's cheap so when that blows up just swap motors and more seat time for you. ps : please do a diy on how to build a ka with some details
I can do this. I do a more in depth ka build.
@@enjukujamjam5033 yes please bro!!
That dance tho 2:53

Put them on the website!! Want to pull my engine JAM JAM!! Great work bro!
where did the supercharger adapter plate come from? Custom?
Funny thing is that enjuku racing phone number is sr20det. But KA all day
Down for the hooks also, build it right the first time lol ask me how i know.....
Were do I get that engine hook from Eric's KA I need it 🙏
K24a vs ka24 ?????
I’ll just agree because you’re smarter than me.
I just sound smart.
Yes, let’s not mention brittle pistons, pencil thin rods, and a HALF counter weighted crank...
Which engine are you implying with?
rebuild it and replace those internals...? boom. ka-t > sr

K is the way! Had multiple Sr setups and ka was definitely the best.
What about ca

Can you snag another Ka to put on the stand?
Vq =trash can water😆😆
kA’s all day!!!!
I still have my '91 factory ford lifting eyes for my engine ,theyre not on the engine tho, they live in a safe place lol

Definitely could use some engine hooks
Our s chassis here in NEW ZEALAND 🇳🇿 only came with SR... we never got a chance to test KA here
