I guess it's not done that way, but it looks to me like the tension on the supercharger belt ultimately works against the intake manifold and its mounting, so maybe another option would be a bracket between the engine and supercharger which would both take the load and keep it from touching the oil filter.
Yes just cost. This car is supposed to be a budget build, which I have exceeded already. The DC power alternators are badass and I most likely will be switching to one in the future.
@@enjukujamjam5033 Yeah it looks lovely plus it matches your cover. It a great piece of machinery my alternator crapped out a month ago and I went with a quest alternator because of my sound system. I will eventually buy the one on the site but like you said the cost is the only issue but according to the description how can I complain when my current goal is KA-T full TOMEI build target is 420hp just because 420 is ganja time, a 3,000 watt sound system, that alternator will give me what I need and be reliable.

The method with the bucket is probably better than the suction cup, I'd imagone the bucket is better at keeping even pressure all around.
The bucket definitely works better than the suction cup, but you risk damaging it in the process. If you had an extra one i would choose that route.

I haven’t tried fitting a remote filter as of yet, but I’ll post my findings.
