Good god, I never kmew this commercial existed. I knew the American one was pretty bad with Toad getting hauled off in an ambulance after what appears to be a near fatal car wreck, but Mario vaporizing Bowser leaving nothing but his skeletal remains looking back at the man responsible is horrifying. Truly, Super Circuit is the grittiest Mario Kart.
Super Mario Kart: You poof out of existence if you loose. Easily the most brutal game in the franchise. Mario Kart 64: You get blown up if you lose. Not easy but not as harsh as Super, controls are still crap. Mario Kart Super Circuit: You get flattened by the podium and, lore wise, vaporized upon lighting. Possible to win 1st place but hard to actually master the game and 100% it. Mario Kart Double Dash!!, DS, and Wii: You literally get depression if you lose. All of them have one thing that makes them tough but overall easily beatable by most anyone. The characters in Double Dash!! show the most emotion when losing too. Mario Kart 7: Try again next time, you got this! Not even hard at all. Maybe if you dislike the 3DS controls but that'a about it. Mario Kart 8/Deluxe: Yipee, you did good, nobody here is a loser! Literally did 200cc three stars on every single cup within a few days, very fun but not as challenging as the 2000s games. Mario Kart Tour: What's a loser? You quite literally can not lose.

And not to mention about the 1985 Mario OVA, based off of the original Super Mario Bros. game, what are your thoughts from that movie.

And i wouldn't call the super mario world anime a rip off, it's more like an interactive educational video some type of thing. But yeah, it does feel more like dora the explorer, but not to similar, although dora doesn't exist until the early 2000s. Imagine what the new super mario anime series would look like. A 20 minute episodes showing about problem solving, life lessons, and interesting stories that was taking inspirations from the rpg spin-offs and not about saving the princess all the time. Some original characters that don't exist in the games such as bokkun, cosmo, dark oak, tiff, tuff, escargoon, and the N.M.E. Sales Guy. Colorful Settings that are faithful to the actual mario games. And background music.
