For those that aren't catching it... the piano/synth player is playing Taurus by Spirit, you know the song that everyone says LZ didn't rip off to create Stairway To Heaven... Listen to the piano/synth... its Taurus the dude is playing as Stairway!!
@@bannedtwice7767 Good one, lol! But you know it does... it goes right with what the others are playing, unless you think they stink & aren't sounding like Stairway, as well, even though you know their great and do, lol!!
Friend of mine turned me on to these guys in the mid 90's. ORIGINAL, GOOD MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would love to see them tour again. I saw them on the Hot N’ Spicy Beanburger Tour. Really a fantastic show. High energy, sounded great, and entertaining on a dozen levels.
They had to be the best party band on the planet in their time. The band members' names: Bob Knarley (Bass), Ziggy Knarley (Drums), Spice (Keyboards), Butt-Boy (Guitars), Charlie Haj (Manservant...lol), Tortelvis (Singer and Emcee Extraordinaire) says it all. The fact they were all great musicians belies some that say they were just a joke band. They weren't. The whole concept and execution of the band was pure genius.
@@biankacosma I'd forgotten about this completely, but it reminded me of the big bearded sax player in Bob Kerr's Whoopee Band who used to polish his sax with what looked like a disgusting pair of old underpants during their gigs.
I saw Zeppelin in 73 and 75. I love Dread Zeppelin and DEEPLY regret never seeing them perform live. Very cool. Perfect.
a stairway to have fun
A group of talented musicians had a crazy idea and then went several steps further. Lucky for us, they did.
Torte crushed it with that last high note! These guys are truly no joke...

Ah so that's why it sounds nothing like Stairway...
